Are there plans to port LVGL to STM32H747I-DISCO or STM32U5A9J-DK?

Hi,
I see that last fall ST started to port LVGL to some of their devices, and several already supported: STM32F412G-DK, STM32H7B3I-DK, STM32MP135F-DK

https://www.st.com/content/dam/ecosystems/stm32-gui/out-of-the-box-gui-software-available-for-stm32-display-kits.pdf

Are there plans to support STM32H747 and STM32U5A9J with MIPI DSI this year?
( currently I am experimenting with https://github.com/MaxSpb69/STM32H747I_Disco_LVGLport , but it is not perfect - too much data copying )
I would like to see an official version from ST.

Thank you

Hello @jhnlmn ,

I'm pretty sure our partner Riverdi could answer you, they have ported LVGL to multiple of our boards. I invite you to check these 2 repositories especially :

Thank you for the information.

But I do not think this us useful.

Revierdi displays are 5 to 10 times more expensive than typical embedded display, for example a typical RPI DSI display. And it is not even clear whether they use DSI or not (their doc does not mention is).

And their software from the links that you mentioned does not have any license, so, I assume, we cannot use it with any dev board from ST like STM32H747I-DISCO or STM32U5A9J-DK or our own board.

So, I will have to wait for ST to develop a more useful solution.

Hello @jhnlmn ,

I apologize for any inconvenience, but unfortunately, we do not currently have plans to port LVGL onto the STM32H747I-DISCO or STM32U5A9J-DK. While I do not have any alternative solutions to offer, I recommend reaching out to our partner, Riverdi, for further information.
