I have a question regarding the use of STM32F4 devices in IEC 61508 SIL2/SIL3 applications. The STM32 Safety Library documentation indicates that STM32 devices can be used in SIL2/SIL3 applications. However, I could not find an explicit Hardware Systematic Capability (SC) claim for devices such as the STM32F415. Does STM32 claim SC2 or SC3 for the STM32F4 family in accordance with IEC 61508? If not, how is the use of these devices in SIL2/SIL3 applications justified from a systematic capability perspective? I would appreciate any clarification you can provide on how the systematic capability of STM32 devices is addressed within the IEC 61508-2 framework.
