Hi.
Recently I noticed when reprogramming my stm32vl discovery board, STLINK does not reset the chip and start my newly programmed application. Its been such a long time since I did any work on this and I believe in the past it would reset the cpu after a re flash. Did I imagine this, or has something changed I did not notice. Has anyone else experienced this?
I’m using STLINK utility V3.8.0

Hi b.m.002,
Check the SB11 solder bridge which should be ON. One more thing , the STM32VL DISCO does not need any ST-Link firmware installation, that is already embedded inside. -Hannibal-2016-08-26 07:26 PM
Hi Hannibal, that was ok, but I have since connected my Nucleo, and I have notice even this board will not reset automatically after I reprogram the micro, I have to press the reset button for my app to start, any ideas.
thanks
