pin VBUSON stm32-h107

Hello to all,

i have a question regarding stm32-h107 : in order to use feature usb on the go, should i connect pin USB_VBUSON to Vdd? Best Regards, Dion

Better refer to Evaluation board schematics.

The VBus needs to be connected to the USB Power Switch output and also to Vbus of the STM32F105. The Power switch is needed for using the MCU in host mode and direct connection to Vbus is needed to use in device mode. The Power-switch enable needs to be controlled by mcu.

Posted on April 03, 2012 at 09:45 Alokm thank you for your reply. my confusion about this signal came from the fact that the schematic for stm32-h107 shows that signal VBUSON drives also an external pin. I measured its voltage from curiosity and despair, and the voltage was zero. So if i understood correctly, mcu uses the switch and so defines VBUSON in host mode only?
