Posted on March 16, 2018 at 08:53The 'Quick start guide' for STEP01 demo boards says you can stack up to three boards and explains how to set the link resistors to daisy-chain the SPI comms. Fine, but that still leaves all the boards connected to the same step pin on the Nucleo so all steppers will move exactly the same !
How much use is that?
The L6474 boards has other links that allowed connection of each step to a different IO on the nucleo. The meant you could actually USE it.
Is there some detail I'm over looking or do I really have to start bending legs and bodging ad hoc soldered links everywhere? Thanks for any clarifications.
