GPIO_analog vs ADC, STM32F2

1. Microxplorer gives option to set any GPIO pin as GPIO_analog or pin as ADC if it has ADC feature.

2. What is diff between two. I know abt ADC but what does GPIO_analog do?

What does GPIO_analog do?

Turns OFF the schmitt trigger on the digital input side.
