Hello guys, I've started reading about STM32F429 and start thinking - if it would be possible to use LCD-TFT controller in such situation:
microcontroller reads BT.656 video signal (8 or 10 bits in parallel + CLK), decode it to normal RGB (24bit - each color 8bits, sync signals, etc...), streams all the data to LCD, plus adds interactive stuf, like clock or date (maby in different layer or transparent). Everything should work at least 30fps. Maby someone was trying to do that and can advice something - or use FPGA in this situation is the only solution?
