Posted on May 09, 2013 at 08:50I started using Em::Blocks for my STM32F4Discovery programming. It's a fork of Code::Blocks targeted at embedded programming. I've really been pleased with it so far. It's able to handle the STM32F4Discovery strait out of the box, so to speak.
Here is a zip of the 44780 LCD Driver project.

The project was built with Em::Blocks 1.01 and uses the STM32F4 Discovery library 1.1.0.
