Recently we developed a on the fly Firmware update system using the L4 series MCU's.
There it worked by setting the BFB2 bit and reading the FB_MODE bit to determine which bank was booted and where the code needed to be erased and written.
Now we are testing the L552VET variant to do the same.
I have found the OB bit SWAP_BANK that allows us to switch the Bank addresses. But is there also a mechanism like the FB_MODE from the L4 series available to check if indeed it booted bank 2? If we leave bank2 empty and we swap will it boot again in 1? Or will it just be stuck in an firmware-less bank2?
Any more info about on the fly fw updates or OTA about the L5 series would be awesome!
