Good morning, I have assembled the STEVAL-ROBKIT1 as described here: https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-robkit1.html
I have followed the assembly instructions as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fzpv_j343U
When I switched on the robot and paired with my iPhone application the robot doesn't respond to the manual commands. For example if I only move forward or only turn the direction or a combination nothing happens:
When I move it to the "Follow me" mode it seems to go around in circles and moves at random. The same also goes when I move it to the "Autopilot" mode. It seems that one wheel moves more than the other. I've checked the connections (removed and reconnected). I have also ensured that nothing is blocking any of the components. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the application (restarting my mobile phone). I have also used different locations and also have have ensure that the phone controlling the device is at very close proximity to the robot. When I go to the diagnostic or debugging screens I see the following:
and then restarting both devices again:
I am using the latest operating system on my phone 26.4.2 (iOS)
I feel that I have exhausted all the troubleshooting I can do on my side. Please let me know what I can do to debug this further?
