I have the discovery boards for the ST25DV and noticed a much higher current draw than I expected. In power down mode, (LPD = 1), the board was still drawing ~165uA.
Looking at the schematics for the board, there is a 20k pullup resistor on the GPO line.
This makes sense on the open drain versions of the chip, but this board has the 12 pin, CMOS output style of chip on it.
After I removed the resistor, the current draw dropped within the bounds specified in the data sheet.
Just a heads up, might want to consider revising the board to omit the resistor R1.

Thanks for raising this item. I confirm R1 resistor shall be removed for CMOS style of chip and best in class current consumption.
