In one of our products, we recently encountered an issue with the STMicroelectronics part VN7E010AJ (HS Driver Failure).
- Configuration: VN7E010AJ HS driver output is connected to the horn.
- Observation:
- Without the horn connected, the HS driver always provides 12V without any horn input.
- Once the horn is connected to the HS driver output, the 12V drops to zero volts.
- The microcontroller can access HS driver communication, but the switching function is not working properly.
Could you please check and share your feedback on the possible causes for this failure?
Additionally, we would like to understand the main differences between VN7E010AJ and VN7010AJ ICs.
