We have a Li-ion battery connected to to a charger and to the STC3115.
the BATD pin controls the charger Enable/Disable pin , in order to stop the charging while powering up with charger connected.
if the battery is empty and we connect the charger, than after power up, the SoC is not correct.
We can see that the BATD disables the charger after crossing from 0V to 3V, but the SoC is not correct any more.
If the charger is not disconnected, removing the battery and re-inserting it, shows the correct SoC.
We read this post but we did not see an answer that fits.
How can we get a correct SoC while charging from 0V? is there a configuration issue here? should we check HW settings?
