I need an IC to monitor battery health and end of service.
Project type : smart meter
Battery type : Li-SoCl2 primary lithium, non rechargeable
We already use part

for another project with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery and we like to minimize development cost and BOM management by using the same P/N.
My question is : is the STC3115 suitable for primary lithium battery or should we use a dedicated part? The datasheet is not clear on this point.
