Startup error for 12-pole BLDC motor using STM8-MCKIT

I have read App note AN1276 and the issue does appears to be in the alignment ramp and startup ramp table. How can I compute the correct parameter/table values for these functions? What other parameters must I set to get the system working?

Hello,

if you have Startup fail error it means that the required numbers of valid BEMF zero crossing detection have not been occurred.

I suspect that you have to change the ramp-up acceleration to achieve the right control. To do this the best way is to use the STM8 MC Builder available at the following link

Another trivial issue: if the

motor

have 12 poles this means 6 poles pairs?
