I would like to know when I will be able to get hold of L6480 ICs from distribution

We have had 3 dates in the last month with different distributors where items have been shown as coming in and we have ordered; but when the date passes they become marked as 45 week lead.

    You'll need to talk to your distributor rep about where your order is queued.

    Understand how they list stock, devices on order for others, and the delivery dates, vs your place in line.

    Do they know if you will take partial delivery? Are you a slow payer? The current market tend to favour pre-payment, and non-cancel/non-return terms.

    Don't expect any free stock any time soon. Lot of people looking for high demand parts.

    Thankyou for getting back, yes it is an impossible time for electronic purchasing at the moment.

    IC manufacturers are presumably dealing with their larger clients; so prototype quantities or numbers in the 500-1K area are seemingly not making it onto the radar so it is slowing everything down in terms of development and NPI.
