Hi all, We are using fuel guage IC: STC3117IJT . when powerdown mode is activated It consumes around 2mA, but it should be 1 uA. What can we do to minimize the shut down current in STC3117IJT? Regards, Nirav K.

While we have set the register REG_MODE to 0x0B as well as 0x01 to minimize the powerdown current but no luck.

As shown in attached picture we have observed below scenario.

1) the pulse of 50msec to 440uA by every 11sec  

2) pulse of 240msec to 210uA by every 16sec 

3) pulse of 250msec to 126uA by every 4sec 

4) Bias current at 172uA

We have also removed fuel gauge IC to validate the same and after doing so, we have got around 5 uA powerdown current, which concludes that fuel gauge IC consumes the current at the time of poweroff.
