BLDC motor loud grinding noise on open loop ramp with STSW-ESC002V1 running on STEVAL-ESC002V1 board (STSPIN32F0A)

On ramp to 1000 RPM, intense rhythmic motor grinding noise (attached video). At 1000 RPM after hand over to PID, motor runs smoothly with no noise.
