Where did you get that 'news' from?
If ST really did remove the short circuit protection, they're not telling us:
TDA7294 | Product - STMicroelectronics
Also, actually removing the SSP would most likely require a -costly- change to the chip design. This is a very, very mature part, so why would they do so?

STMicroelectronics has not changed or removed anything from the TDA7294. However, I cannot comment on any possible changes made by counterfeiters, which can be found via dubious dealers on the internet.

Is China made ST ic's also ORIGINAL OR FAKE?

It's less a question of what it says on the marking (STMicroelectronics sometimes also manufactures some of its products in China, among other places) and more a question of where you buy it: official distributors always have original goods, while Asian discount retailers, Amazon Marketplace and similar providers usually sell counterfeits or fakes.

As @Peter BENSCH said, you need to buy from Authorised Distributors to be sure of genuine parts.
Authorised Distributors are listed here.

Why STM doesn't taken any strict action on counterfeit goods and fake manufacturer?
ST should be provide QR code or any number on ic that can be checked in St website for the ic geniuness, why st not doing this?

If only combatting fakes were that easy!
If you buy from Authorised Distributors, you would get such tracking information.
