Hi

I have a new build PCB with a ST7Flite29 fitted, I cant program the device, I have had to run an external clock signal to Clk In (PB4), the programmer is now reporting ''Write Protected'', how do I get this back, the ERASE device is greyed out on the STVP programmer

Regards, Brian

Hello,

Normally, a brand new ST7 should not be write protected.

Anyway, in STVP, read option bytes and then just change the option bit FMP_W ''WRITE protection'' to OFF and reprogram the options bytes.

Then, you can reprogram the program memory.(If the FMP_R is OFF too).

Rgds,

Laurent
