I have developed a custom board based on the MB997E reference design, which uses the EMIF02-USB03F2 for USB EMI filtering and ESD protection. Since this component has been declared obsolete, I would like to know:
- What is the recommended replacement part from STMicroelectronics for EMIF02-USB03F2?
- If no direct replacement exists, what are the suggested alternative solutions (e.g., other ST EMI/ESD filter ICs, or combination of discrete ESD diodes and common-mode chokes) that can be used in new designs?
