I have a dead M48T86PC1 CMOS battery for my industrial computer and seeking out a direct replacement as this is obsolete (from what i've searched) .

 

Can you help provide the direct replacement?

Unfortunately there is no replacement for that chip.

May be you need to try that workaround.
