How to upgrade to v6.1.8

Which is the best strategy for upgrade from v6.1.1 toolchain to v6.1.8 toolchain

Is necessary completely uninstall the 6.1.1 before installing the 6.1.8? What happen with my old (but functionaly) workspaces and proyects ? It is possible to install 6.1.8 directly overwritting 6.1.1 ?

It is always safer, from a general point of view, to first uninstall a software before installing its newest version.

Regarding the ST9 toolchain, your old workspaces and projects should have no problem with the newest software. Thanks to the upward compatibility... Skywalker
