EMIF06-HMC02F2 - Pinout configuration

Hi,

In our schematic, the IC’s SD card pin is connected to the controller pin of the STM32H753VIH6, and the IC’s controller pin is connected to the SD card. Could this connection cause any issues during SD card read and write operations? I have attached the schematic for your reference.

It looks to be symmetric to me. All of those data lines are bi-directional. Should work fine.

Hi,

Normal connections of EMIF06-HMC02F2 is:

  • MMCxx pins connected to  STM32H753ViH6 (bumps A4, B4, C3, C4, D3, D4)
  • Others pins connected to MMC card (bumps A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, D1

If I well understood your schematic, it is connected like that, so it's good.

One question: are pull-up resistors inside STM32H753ViH6 disabled (as they are on EMIF06-HMC02F2)?

Best regards.

Fabrice.
