LIS2DW12 slow activity detection

ludovic tramart

Hello everybody,

In the AN5038 it is well described how to setup the internal state machine to detect activity, but it has does not fit my need:

If I have my  product in my hand, I want detect slow motion in 3 XYZ axes, but if my product is on my desk and I hit the desk with my hand, I do not want it to detect it.

and right now, what I have is the opposite, any idea where to start from? I do not have any external CPU, I want to use the internal state machine only.

Hi @ludovic tramart ,

You can try to increase the WAKE_UP_DUR to avoid to detect the spikes due to the hit on the desk.
