IMU Modules - Ceramic Packages

Dude
Associate III

Hi,

This webpage suggests that STM can offer ceramic packages for their IMU modules. How would I go about requesting or getting a quote for a ceramic package version of any particular IMU module?

thanks

That's specifically in the context of automotive and industrial models:

https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/about/innovation---technology/mems.html#:~:text=MEMS%20devices%20targeting%20automotive%20and%20industrial%20markets%20use%20two%20types%20of%20packages%3A%20leadframe%20and%20ceramic.

So it (probably) won't apply to the "consumer" targetted parts ...

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

True. I suppose my phrasing was poor. I should have said 'for any particular automotive and industrial IMU modules'.

Case made. Thanks.
