How to derive the comparison limits for LSM6DS33 self-tests?

Regarding this thread:

https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkX2bSAF/lsm6ds33-problem-with-self-test?t=1558067735502

The last comment by Petr says that the self-test values such as Min(ST_X) are derived from the Full Scale range, but he doesn't explain how to calculate them.

Can someone please provide the derivation for those values of 90 and 1700 for accelerometer, and 150 and 700 for the gyroscope? I'd like to extend the self-test to other Full Scale ranges.

Hi, self-test values are proportional to the FS, and are described in LSM6DS3 datasheet (unfortunately not in LSM6DS33 one, but they are the same). Values are defined by design, and if you doubles the FS you have to double the limits. Btw, if the self-test has run on a device for the +-2g FS (in the axl case), no need to run the test for other FSs.

Please consider also this link if it could be of your help in case of other issues --> https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkXCFSA3/lsm6ds33-self-test
