I have ported the BLE_Throughput_EXT example for two MCU/BlueNRG2(DTM) setups to communicate with each other. I was getting around 34 kbps. When I implemented this example on a single setup and configured it to send out Notifications when connected to a simple BLE app on an iPhone, I was getting a little under 60 kbps. After disabling notifications on the iPhone while maintaining the previous connection. The MCU/BlueNRG2(DTM) setup begins transmitting at about 270 kbps. I was hoping someone could explain what is going on.
I am trying to squeeze out as much throughput as I can with this setup and was wondering if I may be doing something wrong or if this is the transmission rate to be expected.
