In the ST7580 application note (AN4068) the transmitter and receiver paths are connected through a DC blocking capacitor after the output of the power amplifier. Therefore when no transmission is occurring the output of the PA should be similar to a AC ground. My question is doesn't this circuit effectively short-circuit the signal in receiving mode therefore drastically reducing the received signal amplitude? Or when in receiving mode does the ST7580 open-circuit the output of the PA? However I couldn't find anything stating this in the datasheet though
