"absolute maximum" rating vs "operating" conditions

E-TEA3718SFPTR is used for stepper driving

actually the package is S020.

In datasheet absolute maximum rating is mentioned as 45V for Vs.

But in operating condition, it is mentioned 10v for S020 package.

Please clarify?

Welcome, @NMP.1​, to the community!

Some information in the heading of Table 5 unfortunately contains some typos. The datasheet rev 2 says:

  • Symbol | Parameters | SO20 | Power DIP | Multiwatt 15 | Unit

but it should read as:

  • Symbol | Parameters | Min. | Typ. | Max. | Unit

Sorry for the confusion!
