Posted on June 11, 2018 at 16:03On the application I'm developing on a NUCLEO-IDW04A1 (which as the SPWF04SA module) I have consistently run into issues where I cannot interface correctly with other hardware because the version of micropython on the latest firmware is missing key modules, or in some cases critical functions that would normally be in the module. For example, the I2C module has send and receive commands, but no start/end transmission commands. So from a high level I can try to use the I2C bus, but when I needed to have lower level control those functions didn't exist.
Is there any way to update my version of upython on the board to add in modules/functions that I need?
