How much time will the node work in the MESH network?

Good day!

How much time will the node work in the MESH network, if it is powered from a 3.6V battery with a capacity of 1800 mAh? It is assumed that all nodes operate in standard mode and low-power nodes in the network are not used. Transmitter power remains the same as in the original design by default.

Considering the fact that a normal Mesh node (non Low Power) is always receiving on advertising channels,

typical current for BlueNRG-2 RX mode (DC-DC converter active) is 7.7 mA (for 3.0V VCC),

and if TX power is configured -5 dBm (7.7 mA) so that we can ignore the difference consumption between TX and RX for easier estimation:

It will work roughly 233.8 hours (1800 mAh / 7.7 mA), without considering other components on the board.

The estimation can also be got with BlueNRG Current Consumption Estimation Tool, by setting Scanning in Events:

The RX current consumption would be around 6.34 mA for the 3.6V supply voltage.
