SR5E1E7 IO_Definitions (excel file attached to TN1404) shows some information I need help with. There a sheet called "IO Muxing Table" where there are several possible functions for different pins on the SR5E1x series. One of the columns "Special mapping" has HSM UART and HSM DO functions listed for ports PA[6] and PA[7].
I've looked in the datasheet or reference manual (RM0483) but not found the info I need. Where can I look to find an explanation of what that pin function does/how it works?
Is it a special status for UART2 (listed as another alternate function for those ports) if used on those pins or an entirely different function?
