Hello, if i wanted to program the MCU using SPC5 Connect via CAN, what kind of connection did I need to make between SPC5 Connect and the MCU? The MCU I currently using is SPC560B64L7.

Hello Wong ,
No , it is FlexCAN0

The current IC that I'm using has CAN transceiver interface and the only FlexCAN available is FlexCAN 4, is SPC-5 Connect tied down to a specific FlexCAN or can it be connected to any FlexCAN that is available?

Hello Erwan,
Thanks for the reply. If i want to program my MCU via CAN, the connections are only CANC_RX and CANC_TX from SPC5-CONNECT to CAN0TX and CAN0RX from MCU, is it right?

Yes , exactly ;)

Hello Erwan,
Sorry this may come out as me being skeptical, because programming a MCU just by connecting CAN RX and TX is just too good to be true. Please correct me if I make any of the assumptions below wrong. The SPC5-Connect has CAN interface at the P3 connector, I will just have to connect pin 21 (CAN-H) and pin 22 (CAN-L) of the SPC5-Connect to my MCU's (SPC560B64L7) FlexCAN0 only. Ignoring all the other pins from the P3 connector, such as SIN and SCK. Thank you for your patience and all the help provided thus far.
Regards
Wong
