for eg:

TDA7297 is 2+15W stereo IC,  But i want single (mono) out only with 15W,

Can i use single channel only?

if open means, Its create any problem. Pls suggest me

hi Panneerr,

of course , you can just use one amplifier of stereo amplifier .

and you should connected non-used channel input coupling cap to ground  to avoid resonance .

by the way , due to non-used channel are in active status , so power dissipation will higher than mono amplifier IC .

Thanks ,
