Dear Community,we currently try to set up a Murata LBEE5KL1YN with an Ocatavo System OSD32MP157c. We use ecosystem5 and kernel 6.1.28. The problem is, the brcmfmac driver is not loaded. We do not see any output of brcm in the boot log and also not in dmesg. It seems that the driver is never loaded. There is no error message no load error, nothing to find which would indicate a load or crash of brcm drivers. It seems that SDIO detection on sdmmc3 works. We geht the following dmesg output[ 3.903290] mmc2: new high speed SDIO card at address 0001and also in the booted system we seesudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/mmc2/ios clock: 50000000 Hz actual clock: 49500000 Hz vdd: 21 (3.3 ~ 3.4 V) bus mode: 2 (push-pull) chip select: 0 (don't care) power mode: 2 (on) bus width: 2 (4 bits) timing spec: 2 (sd high-speed) signal voltage: 0 (3.30 V) driver type: 0 (driver type B)We do see communication on the CMD line and also the power up sequence on the oscilloscope. The relevant device tree secti
Looking at AN5478 implies that the entire line of STM32MP13x has a DCMIPP interface. However for STM32MP131 DCMIPP is not mentioned in the datasheet.Does the STM32MP131 have a DCMIPP interface? If so, are the pins and the functionality matching that on the one on the STM32MP135?Thanks.
Hello, I am looking for an MCU/MPU for some application development and the STM32MP looked very interesting. I understand that the STM32MP257F is still in preproduction and there is no "-EV1" development board for it... on the other hand, the STM32MP157C-EV1 is obsolete and the STM32MP157F would be a problematic option for me because I need the automotive temperature range offered by the 157C. Thus, I have the following questions:- Is there a planned release date for the 257F and its development board?- What is the EOL date for the 157C? Why does it appear as "active" but its development kit is "obsolete"?- Is it possible to use any of them (or both of them) in a bare-metal set-up with only one core active? I am trying, as much as possible, to avoid a multi-core configuration or any sort of RTOS. Thanks,Ricardo

I found something interresting. If we look at the STM32MP15XXAC (package TFBGA361) we can see that:DLCD_B1 is connected to K4 and Y17OTG_HS_ID is connected to Y17ETH_PHY_INTN is connectes to K4In this case, I need DLCD_B1 and OTG_HS_ID for flashing the eMMC with Linux. What I found is that ETH_PHY_INTN is actually connected to AC8 for the STM32MP157 dev-kit, and that leads me to the question:Is AC8 an interrupt or a wakeup pin for the Ethernet PHY? Why is AC8 selected? Should I declare it as an External Interrupt in CubeMX?If I look at CubeMX, there is an option for Ethernet Interrupt.
Hi,I am looking for the drivers that support multiple USB Printer Vendors. Can anyone has configure the STM32MP135 with multiple USB Printers support.Warm regardsMohammad Faizan

I am facing this error when I update to Kirkstone, while this error does not exist on Dunfell.I get this error after I set my ethraddr manually.&ethernet0 { compatible = "st,stm32mp1-dwmac", "snps,dwmac-4.20a"; reg = <0x5800a000 0x2000>; reg-names = "stmmaceth"; interrupts-extended = <&intc GIC_SPI 61 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH>, <&intc GIC_SPI 62 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH>, <&exti 70 1>; interrupt-names = "macirq", "eth_wake_irq", "stm32_pwr_wakeup"; clock-names = "stmmaceth", "eth-ck", "mac-clk-tx", "mac-clk-rx", "ethstp"; clocks = <&rcc ETHMAC>, <&rcc ETHCK_K>, <&rcc ETHTX>, <&rcc ETHRX>, <&rcc ETHSTP>; st,syscon = <&syscfg 0x4>; snps,mixed-burst; snps,pbl = <2>; snps,en-tx-lpi-clockgating; /* In case of U-Boot echo system release v3.1.0 */ st,eth-ref-clk-sel; snps,axi-config = <&stmmac_axi_config_0>; snps,tso; power-domains = <&pd_core>; sta

Why is it a voltage divider as configuration for the USB2514B in STM32MP157 devkit?I can see in the data sheet that there are two bus configurations abilities.I2C EEPROMSMBusI don't know which one should be used. Let's look at the data sheet. This explains that the pins CFG_SEL[0] and CFG_SEL[1] needs to be low or high before the pin RESET_N goes low.And the reset can be done through the USB differential lines.I don't understand this construction. I know that I2C should have a pull-up resistor of 4.7 kOhm, but here we have a 100 kOhm on both GND and 3V3, which makes this a voltage divider. And the data sheet says that 10 kOhm should be the value for pull-up resistors.Question:What is the right configuration here if I want to connect my USB hub to my I2C1 ? I'm using I2C1 instead of I2C4 because the HDMI transmitter and PMIC are sharing the I2C4 bus. The reson is that I think this USB hub might use SMBus and PMIC must use I2C4 according to AN5031, so I2C1 must be unique for one

Hello, is there a possibility to apply TraceX to a ThreadX project using MP135? I could follow some tutorials and include the necessary TraceX functions, but I can't generate a .trx file. The option is simply not available in the CubeIDE. Would you have any suggestions? Best,J. Schneider
As the title describes, for my project which is based on an stm32mp151 embedded device, we are needing to import in Adobe XD generated .xd files into Qt design studio however, currently board packages only provide support up to v5.14.2. There may be considerable effort in getting more recent packages (Qt6).Is there a way to get qt bridge files imported into Qt 5.14.2? Or is this just flat-out not supported? If this isn't possible and we are forced into using more recent versions of Qt (Qt 6.7 etc.), how well supported is this currently in stm32mp151 mpu yocto builds?Looking for a way forward on this.Regards and thanks in advance.
Hello,I'm testing a prototype board with STM32MP135FAE7 and MT41K256M16TW-107 DDR3L, using STM32DDRFW-UTIL firmware.DDR_Test_Random fails if memcpy (DDR -> DDR) is used inside this test (this is the only one test using memcpy) but not if I'm copying memory using plain C loop with pointers to volatile uint32_t or volatile uint64_t. Failure type seems pretty consistent: 4 consecutive bits (one, always the same nibble) are "moved" from one 16-bit word to the next one. As far as I know (but I'm not 100% sure) this particular PCB data traces are uniform and relatively short (~28 mm), though one detail that might be more unusual is that order of data bits between MPU and DDR is swapped to help with routing.I've used default memory settings from this example (DDR model is matching), I've tried also relaxed timings from CubeMX and lowering memory clock but this issue was persistent.Do you have any hints how to debug this issue and what could be possible cause?
Hello together,I'm currently reading out sensor with the M4 Chip and the connected ADCs. I'm using the STM32MP157F DK2 DevBoard - The minimum requirement is to read out 3 sensors (6 is optimum) at 20 kHz each. I though of using the M4 to read out the values and then give them to the A7 chip. For that I tried the logicanalyzer example at : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/logicanalyser. I cant get it to work after following all instructions carefully (error on a firmware.bb write and sometimes even when downloading). My next move was to use the M4 and use 2 timers. One timer with an interrupt that reads out all the ADCs, writing the values to the first half of SRAM3, which I saw was accessible from both processors. The A7 is then reading out the values written to the other half of the SRAM3 while the M4 is keeping writing values to the other half. This is switching back and forth using the other timer with interrupt and a flag. However I haven't got this approach to scale yet.
I'm attempting to run an OP-TEE Trusted Application on the STM32MP157F-DK2 running OpenST Linux version stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21. I've followed the guides here and here, but both end up producing the following error when attempting to run the application:TEEC_Opensession failed with code 0xffff0008 origin 0x3What could be causing this problem? I'm running a fresh install of OpenST Linux and haven't made any modifications to the system other than those required to get the example running.
I am reaching out regarding an issue we've encountered while attempting to flash our Buildroot image using the STM32CubeProgrammer in DFU mode.Despite successfully building the image with Buildroot, we are encountering difficulties when attempting to flash it. Specifically, the STM32CubeProgrammer fails to recognize the image properly, displaying incorrect file size information, and subsequently failing after some time.We have thoroughly reviewed our build process and ensured that the image generated by Buildroot is valid. However, the problem persists when attempting to flash it via the STM32CubeProgrammer.we would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have to help us resolve this issue.
HI.Recently I purchased a stm32mp157-dk1. I am going to learn to use uboot. I know that Uboot startup is divided into several parts. The second part is SPL, and then SPL will boot uboot, and uboot will continue to boot the Linux kernel.I have read the STM32MP157 documentation and it says that STM32MP157 does not support SPL. Is this true? Is the SPL boot option never available or is it optional?
Hi!I notice something! In the devkit of STM32MP15xxxx, I found that ETH_TX_EN is used for GMII, but when I check the CubeMX, I found that RGMII is used instead. This is the settings for RGMII. In the devkit schematics, it is ETH1_TX_EN, not ETH1_TX_CTL.RGMII can only be selected as a mode. This is the timing diagram for GMII and RGMII. The difference is that GMII has ETH_RX_ER and RGMII does not. And also ETH_TX_CTL is used in RGMII and in ETH_TX_EN is used in GMII. Question: Can it be that STM32MP15xxxx devkit schematic is using ETH_TX_EN as label for ETH_TX_CTL for RGMII? Also, there should be no pull-up resistor on ETH_MDC! Only ETH_MDIO.
I have build a board of STM32MP151AAC3 processor. It has almost everything, except audio output and DSI Display. STM32MP151 series does not support DSI.Anyway! I used the included Design Rules from that CAD file .The Design Rules are narrow and tight, so not even JLCPCB can produce this board. Question:Which manufacturer can produce this board if the design rules looks like this? This is an open source project, so I will upload this on GitHub later.
I'm attempting to debug an STM32MP157 using STM Cube IDE on Windows, but I've encountered an issue with a parameter, and I'm unsure of its origin. Could you provide assistance with this matter?
Hello. Every one.I've been designing using STM32MP151 series. Now, i just have changed the package from STM32MP151CAB3(0.8pitch) to STM32MP151CAD3(0.5pitch).And then, the current is consumed more than 0.4W.of course, the power pin count is fewer than 151CAB3.So, I added more capacitors with big capacitance.Do you have any experiences as for this?please, reply me.Thank you.Regards.
Hi!I have made a simple computer with STM32MP151AAC3 processor.I have modify so I can boot either from UART4 or eMMC. My question is:When I want to flash OpenSTLinux onto the eMMC, can that be done via ST-Link and STM32CubeIDE? Just like regular STM32 programming via STM32CubeIDE?If yes: Is there any manual how to flash the eMMC with OpenSTLinux via UART4 so my processor can boot from eMMC? I have attached the schematic. Just tell me if I'm missing something. I have included:LSEHSEBoot (Only BOOT1 can be set HIGH. BOOT0 and BOOT2 is default pull-down)RESETExternal ST-Link debug via 1.27 x 2 connector (I assuming that a Nucleo STM32 can be used as ST-Link programmer)HDMIDDReMMCUSBH USB OTGGigabit EthernetPMIC with 3.5 mm DC plug connector
