Openssl fails to convert the certificate from der to pem. Is this expected? I wrote a c program in OpenSSL to extract the public key, which seems to work, but I need to verify its correctness. Is there another tool like openssl that I can verify the key in the certificate? Any thoughts, etc?
Hello Guys.I have tried bitbake(st-image-core) after a long time.But I can't proceed with the following error.This error is partial, and many of the same errors appear(Attach the error as text).I don't know how to fix it. Hi:Dear friends, there is a very strange problem here. I use timer 1(STM32MP157AAC) to output PWM wave. In engineering mode, the output of PWM wave is normal, but when it comes to mass production mode, the waveform is interrupted. Here are my configuration steps:1)First of all, I configure the clock to be 209 MB, the frequency to be 800K, and the duty cycle to be 50%, as follows:htim1.Instance = TIM1; htim1.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim1.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim1.Init.Period = 250-1; htim1.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim1.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim1.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sClockSourceConfig.ClockSource = TIM_CLOCKSOURCE_INTERNAL; if (HAL_TIM_ConfigClockSource(&htim1, &sClockSourceConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_TIM_PWM_Init(&htim1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_T
Hello,iam trying to implement more or less the same example as with the virtualUARTs with multiple Endpoints just with the rpmsg_char driver and plain endpoints without virtualUART on M4 side. Iam struggling to get multiple Endpoints to work. One is working fine and the other is created as well. But i cant send and receive data through the second endpoint. Does anyone have an example with multiple endpoints with the rpmsg_char driver?
HOLD_BOOT: After an power-on reset the BOOT_MCU is '0' and we can set thebit to '1', after an MCU reset (MCU_RST) the M4 FW start (CRun). All is fine. But after that we can't reset the BOOT_MCU bit back to '0'. The BOOT_MCU bitremains on '1' and we can't reach the HOLD_BOOT state again.Is there any ideas why the BOOT_MCU bit remains on '1' ?!
We have a custom board based on the stm32mp151 that shall boot from emmc. I can flash alright, but when I switch the boot pins, the boot device remains on usb. I can see from arch/arm/mach-stm32mp/cpu.c, that boot_device is set to usb, here is the debug line:setup_boot_mode: boot_ctx=0x2203 => boot_mode=22, instance=1 forced=3when I break into u-boot, and manually set boot_device to mmc, it works. I'm DDR tuning a custom STM32MP157F board with 4GB DDR3. All DDR tests are passing however I get the following tuning failure for Bit Deskew: Failed [Cannot Deskew lines, there is no PASS region] and Eye Training: [Cannot DQS timings, there is no PASS region]What exactly does this mean? Full text from op-tee: Important caveats Currently no OP-TEE platform is able to support retrieval of the Hardware Unique Key or Chip ID required for secure operation. For all platforms, a constant key is used, resulting in no protection against decryption, or Secure Storage duplication to other devices. This is because information about how to retrieve key data from the SoC is considered sensitive by the vendors and it is not freely available. In OP-TEE, there are apis for reading the keys generically from "One-Time Programmable" memory, or OTP. But there are no existing platform implementations. To allow Secure Storage to operate securely on your platform, you must define implementations in your platform code for: void tee_otp_get_hw_unique_key(struct tee_hw_unique_key *hwkey); int tee_otp_get_die_id(uint8_t *buffer, size_t len); These implementations should fetch the key data from your SoC-specific e-fuses, or crypto unit according to the method

I want to use stm32mp1 chip to drive ssd22288 rgb-mipi screen. Could you give me some solutions?
Sorry if I have come to the wrong group. I am searching for information on why a font would work with some code that already exists and what if the best way to visualise this. Tried a number of softwares and sites but none provide the array that I'm looking for.What sizes are commonly the best way to go?I have tried this font http://www.suwa-koubou.jp/micom/NtpClock/source/font16x24.hIt works in my application, but I am looking for the next sizes up that would work. Is there an EXCEL sheet that would work, Or one that I can input the array and view the result?I need it for my project.I found a 16x24 font that can replace the one above ------ http://www.longlandclan.yi.org/~stuartl/stm32f10x_stdperiph_lib_um/fonts_8c_source.htmlBut it is smaller. Can you help?Rosalin
Only the power supply via USB C CN6 allows booting with detection of the presence of voltage on GPIO PA5 and PA4. Is there a way to modify this control mode and be able to boot with a CN2 power supply? Is it possible to modify the FW so as not to read the two GPIOs ? Thank for help.
I am evaluate the STM32MP157C-DV2 board.I have disabled the weston service by referring to the link below.https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000cSKmXSAW/disable-weston-autostart-in-stm32mp157cdv2When boot with the weston service disabledThe two images below appear sequentially.I want to customize the boot screen to the image I want.I found the above images in the path below.layers/meta-st/meta-st-openstlinux/recipes-graphics/wayland/weston-init/Although I did find the path of the default boot images, I think it has nothing to do with weston-init because the weston service is inactive.The psplash recipe exists in the path below.layers/meta-st/meta-st-openstlinux/recipes-core/psplash/psplash-drm layers/openembedded-core/meta/recipes-core/psplashWhat recipe do I have to override in my custom layer to change the boot screen?

Hi,AN5122 in paragraph 3.2 recommends to use 33 ohm serial resistor for every A/C of the DDR chip, but the STM32MP1_SeriesDDRmemory_routing_guidelines_examples.zip in STM32MP15XXAA_1DDR3Lx16 example there are NO serial resistor. Can I use this layout example? Is it tested? or it is better to add 33 ohm resistors. In the latter case A/C includes all addresses plus bank addresses, CKE, CASN, CSN, RASN, WEN and ODT?Thank you for any suggestions.
I am using STM32CubeIDE in Ubuntu20.04.If you create the STM32MP1 project in STM32CubeIDE for Ubuntu, it asks if you want to install the OpenSTLinux SDK. And I have installed it and am using it.However, in STM32CubeIDE for Windows, if you ask if you want to install the OpenSTLinux SDK, it indicates that the installation can only be installed on Linux, and installation is not possible.If you look at the attached picture, you can see the OpenSTLinux SDK Manager menu in STM32CubeIDE for Ubuntu, but there is no that menu in STM32CubeIDE for Windows.I want to develop STM32MP1 Firmware in STM32CubeIDE for Windows because it is inconvenient and slow to use the virtual machine, but I wonder if there is any problem even if I do not install the OpenSTLinux SDK and develop the firmware.
Hello everyone!I had an application that was originally designed to run on a STM32WB55 but found it didn't have the resources we needed for it. The STM32MP1 seems like it has the potential to be a good fit for us as we could do the sensor processing on the M4 and some of the higher level calculations on the A7.Our plan was to have the chip asleep until it received a wakeup signal from a sensor and then most the code was running from the M4. Once it had completed its data collection, it would do the processing from the A7. We're still in the planning phase (to determine if this is the right processor for this application) but the issue I'm having trouble navigating is the low power modes. Below are some of the questions I have:1) If I'm having code running on the M4, is it possible to put the A7 into a low power mode (like standby or stop)? I believe this would be possible according to page 134 of the datasheet (which seems to show this capability). 2) What is the recommended mode to ru

Hello everyone,I am currently working with phyCORE-STM32MP1 which has a STM32MP157C mounted.It runs with OpenSTLinux, but it is a modified distribution by Phytec.I have very little experience with handling Device Tree and drivers and my problem is that I am trying to connect an STEVAL-STWINMAV1 to the I2S pins of the STM32MP157C, including the I2C port to control it, but I am having serious problems with being able to make it work with the modifications that I do in the "Device Tree".By default in this I2S port comes the configuration to connect a TLV320AIC3007 from Texas Instruments, I am commenting on the code that configures it and trying to get it to take the ADAU1978 drivers, which I think are compiled in the OpenSTLinux image.I attach the portion of code that I am editing in the ".dtsi" file and just to corroborate the portion of code in which Phytec configures the pins in their respective ".dtsi" fileThe pinout configuration, I hope someone can guide me to the solution bec
I have found many tutorials for how to import the example projects into stmcubeide but have not seen much information on how to set up a new M4 project? I have been able to import the OpenAMP_TTY_echo example into stm32cubeide and debug fine but I am having issues setting up a new project. I want to setup a new project because I want a .ioc project file in order to easily setup timers and interrupts and the OpenAMP_TTY_echo example is missing some of the HAL driver libraries. I was able to create a new project selecting the board as STM32MP157c-DK2 but the build button is grayed out for the project? I am using the distribution package, specifically the st-example-image-qt image.
