Hello,Would the B‑LCDAD‑HDMI1 adapter board work "out of the box" to connect a HDMI display to the STM32MP257F-EV1 running STM32MP2Starter ?
Hello all, I am following the Getting Started guide for the STM32MP257F-EV1 and the current step I am on is (Getting Started -> STM32MP2 boards -> Develop on Arm Cortex-A35 -> Modify, rebuild, and reload the Linux kernel). Specifically I am in step 4 where it says to build the kernel images and device trees. I am put in the command: sudo make ${IMAGE_KERNEL} vmlinux dtbs LOADADDR=0xC2000040 O="${OUTPUT_BUILD_DIR}" and the I get the following error:drivers/usb/dwc2/hcd.c: In function ‘dwc2_hcd_hub_control’:drivers/usb/dwc2/hcd.c:3721:30: error: ‘struct dwc2_hsotg’ has no member named ‘test_mode’3721 | hsotg->test_mode = windex >> 8;| ^~make[4]: *** [scripts/Makefile.build:250: drivers/usb/dwc2/hcd.o] Error 1make[3]: *** [scripts/Makefile.build:500: drivers/usb/dwc2] Error 2make[2]: *** [scripts/Makefile.build:500: drivers/usb] Error 2make[1]: *** [scripts/Makefile.build:500: drivers] Error 2make: *** [Makefile:2035: .] Error 2 Any help would be very appreciat

Hi, good morning!First of all, let me tell you that this is my first post (I'm new here in the community of STM32) but I have some experience in the embedded world (I mean, I've used ESP32, Arduino, RPI, BB(Black, Play and AI-64) and other devices for projects at work). The only problem I have is I don't have any experience with STM32 devices and all related stuff so bear in mind with me please. The thing is, after reading the Wiki section (Getting started) I see the first thing I have to do to connect the hardware (STM32MP157) to my computer is to buy some wires I don't have right now. The Wires are:Connect your laptop to the board ST-LINK/V2-1 port through the micro USB Type-B to USB Type-A cable.Connect the USB Type-C™ to USB Type-C™ cable to the 5V/3A power supply.Connect your laptop to the board USB Type-C™ OTG port through the USB Type-C™ to USB Type-A cable.I don't have those wires (in this moment). I just have a USB Type-C
Hello, I am wondering can the ST Linux Starter Package(or indeed any of the STLinux packages) be interacted with via a command line via serial port and if so how would this be set up ? as the additional display for this board is unavailable to me.
When compiling uboot, an error message is displayed when executing the script fiptool-stm32mp: create_st_fip_binary.sh: Command not found.I found the folder after decompression but did not find the file create_st_fip_binary. What is the reason?
Hi,I use "Develop on Arm Cortex-A7" -> "Install the SDK".It re-direction me to "https://docs.yoctoproject.org/4.2.4/singleindex.html#build-host-packages".When I follow this, I got error message: "Unable to locate package libegl1-mesa".How I can fix this ?Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello,I have 8 pairs of public and private keys with the hashes of each public key and I would like to calculate the associated PKHTH value without necessarily using the STM32MP_KeyGen_CLI tool (for integration with our manufacturing tool).I tried to calculate the sha256 of all the concatenated hashes of the public keys but this value does not correspond to the one calculated by STM32MP_KeyGen_CLI. Is there anything else I should include in my PKHTH calculation?Thank you

I have installed OpenSTLinux SDK + Sources (linux, tf-a, u-boot, optee-os) on a STM32CubeIDE project.I have compiled optee-os for my custom board, but it did not work so well for tf-a.This is clearly a bug because I cannot add "i2c2_pin_a" into the .dts file of stm32mp151-stm32-computer-pin-configuration-mx.dts. If I renamei2c4_pins_mx -> i2c2_pins_amanually inside the .dts file, then the error disapear when I compile. But I cannot do that in STM32CubeIDE because it does not allow me to add "i2c2" for TF-A.So is there any walk around for this bug? 23:03:35 **** Build of configuration Default for project stm32-computer-pin-configuration_CA7_tf-a-2.8.15-r2 **** make -f ../Makefile.sdk.ide TF_A_DEVICETREE=stm32mp151a-stm32-computer-pin-configuration-mx TF_A_CONFIG=optee-sdcard stm32 metadata Wrapper for /opt/st/stm32cubeide_1.16.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mpu.linux.toolchain_2.1.0.202305092038/tools/bin/make FIP_DEPLOYDIR_ROOT: /home/lubuntu/Dokument/GitHub/stm32-computer/STM

Hello, I developed a custom board with a pinmap based on stm32mp157f - dk2.I think if you match the pinmap and use the start package, lcd and other features will work.I re-created the sd card according to that advice, and I also rebooted it, but the same thing is happening.What should I do?History: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-products/error-message-inquiries-and-display-problems/m-p/714459#M11850https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-boards-and-hardware/check-error-code-for-uart4/td-p/700161

Hi there ST team! I'm working with this article https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP13_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_PackageMy setup is Windows 11. So far I downloaded and installed STM32Cube programmer and I can open the application. Now, I'm trying to install the "STM32Bootloader.bat" but it doesn't do anything. I can't see the device appearing on the device manager even tough the board is connectedWhen I was downloading the file from ST page, it doesn't allowed me to download 64 bit file, only the 32bit. As far as I understand Windows 11 is only 64 bit. Maybe that's part of the problem? Thanks a lot in advance
Hi all,We are currently trying to add a QSPI device to the STM32MP135F-DK board. Using STM32CubeMX, we selected PB2, PF8, PF9, and PF10 as the QSPI pins and generated the Device Tree accordingly. We then built the image using openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mpu-v24.06.26.However, the QSPI initialization failed, and we encountered the following messages during boot:[ 0.623919] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: Can't access gpio 88[ 0.623944] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: request() failed for pin 88[ 0.623953] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: pin-88 (58003000.spi) status -13[ 0.623964] stm32mp135-pinctrl soc:pinctrl@50002000: could not request pin 88 (PF8) from group PF8 on device soc:pinctrl@50002000[ 0.623974] stm32-qspi 58003000.spi: Error applying setting, reverse things backAdditional information: We are using SD boot. Is it possible to use an STM32MP257F-EV1 miniPCIe with an external low-speed graphics card? I want to use it to run the PS2 emulator.
HelloI currently run on hardware STM32MP135f-DK and am preparing for running a custom HW.When assigning PA12 as a gpio-key in the devicetree,I get this error on boot:[ 3.544391] genirq: Flags mismatch irq 45. 00000083 (my-input) vs. 00002088 (0-0021)[ 3.551110] gpio-keys gpio-keys: Unable to claim irq 45; error -16[ 3.557446] gpio-keys: probe of gpio-keys failed with error -16The result is that nothing from that gpio-keys-node is initialized (if I run gpioinfo) PA12 is also referenced by ETH2 by default, and all references to eth2 are removed from my devicetree This is how I add the new gpio to the devicetree, basically the same as the default user-pa13, but with 12 instead of 13.gpio-keys {compatible = "gpio-keys";my-input {label = "my-input";linux,code = <BTN_2>;gpios = <&gpioa 12 (GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW | GPIO_PULL_UP)>;};};I cannot find anything else pointing at PA12 in the devicetree.Other pins that I define as gpio-keys work. Hi, I am trying to run spidev on the stm32mp157f-dk2 using python and I have set my SPI4 max frequency above 40MHz, but I can't seem to run it more than 16MHz. I have checked the clock tree configurations and the device tree configuration; I seem to have set everything correctly but I can't seem to run it faster.

Hello,I am using meta-st-stm32mp which points to mickledore and is using linux 6.1.82.I would like to use linux 5.10.xx instead, so I got the kernel recipe from Dunfell Branch and put itin a custom recipe, after that I set in my local.conf the following variable PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto := "5.10.%". However after doing bitbake -c cleasstate virtual/kernel and bitbake virtual/kernel it is still using linux 6.1.82!! Does anyone have any idea please how to set this correctly? local.conf# PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-stm32mp ??= "5.1%"PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto := "5.1%"PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto-rt := "5.1%" bitbake -e virtual/kernel | grep PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto# $PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yoctoPREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto="6.1%"# $PREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto-rtPREFERRED_VERSION_linux-yocto-rt="6.1%"Kind regards,Souhail
Hello,I am currently working with an STM32MP131 in a bare-metal environment and utilizing external DDR3. For this, I am using the HAL library, and in most cases, it works as expected. However, I occasionally encounter an issue where the HAL_DDR_Init function returns an error intermittently.Below is a portion of the code where the error occurs: HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_DDR_Init(DDR_InitTypeDef *iddr) { ... ... ... if ((static_ddr_config.c_reg.MSTR & DDRCTRL_MSTR_DDR3) != 0U) { iret = HAL_DDR_MspInit(STM32MP_DDR3); } else if ((static_ddr_config.c_reg.MSTR & DDRCTRL_MSTR_LPDDR2) != 0U) { if (bus_width == 32U) { iret = HAL_DDR_MspInit(STM32MP_LPDDR2_32); } else { iret = HAL_DDR_MspInit(STM32MP_LPDDR2_16); } } else if ((static_ddr_config.c_reg.MSTR & DDRCTRL_MSTR_LPDDR3) != 0U) { if (bus_width == 32U) { iret = HAL_DDR_MspInit(STM32MP_LPDDR3_32); } else { iret = HAL_DDR_MspInit(STM32MP_LPDDR3_16); } } else { /* Unsupported DDR type */ return H
