Hi, I have STM32MP157C-DK2 demo board and I have ported STM Linux Yocto into board. I have enable NTP in the bb layer and I am able to see the NTP is up. When I want to get the status using timedatectl status I am getting the following output Local time: Wed 2019-10-30 15:16:43 UTC Universal time: Wed 2019-10-30 15:16:43 UTC RTC time: Wed 2019-10-30 15:16:44 Time zone: n/a (UTC, +0000) System clock synchronized: yes NTP service: active RTC in local TZ: no Where we can find that NTP service is active but the time zone was not able to find. I can access it with the given tools, like bluetoothctl, but I cannot build that same tool, so that I can write my own code. It seems some header files or libraries are missed. Am I missing something?
Hi,I have created a layer with my custom distro config and altered the conf/local.conf to point to this new distro. So far so good, everything worked as expected. Hi all I have St-link v2 and I am facing a problem for debugging Cortex M in stm32mp157-ev1. I think it is because of the differences between HW Vesion and FW in keil document and my results. In attachment image is mentioned stlink v2-1. Shall i use Stlink V2 instead of V2-1? How do I change my version of the Stlink from V2 to V2-1? Best regards
Hi. I have generated a full device tree for the EV1 to add I2C5 pins PA11/PA12 for external connector hookup to some of my I2C widgets using STM32CubeMX. I've place the generated .dts file from the kernel/ folder into <linux-source>/arch/arm/boot/dts.I am now following the Wiki athttps://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_compile_the_device_tree_with_the_Developer_Packagein section 5.3.. . .PC $> pushd $WORKDIR/kernel/kernel-sources(ok)PC $> make O="$PWD/../build" multi_v7_defconfig(ok)PC $> for f in `ls -1 ../../sources/arm-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi/linux-stm32mp-4.19-r0/fragment*.config`; do scripts/kconfig/merge_config.sh -m -r -O $PWD/../build $PWD/../build/.config $f; done(ok)PC $> make oldconfig O="$PWD/../build"(STOP)PROBLEM. The config script starts asking all of its unknown Y/n | y/N questions to which I have absolutely NO CLUE how to answer. Please advise regarding how to proceed to get a correct build.. . .(not done):PC $> make stm32mp157c-mydevicet

Hi,Has anyone tried to build latest stm32mp linux release (v4.19-stm32mp-r3) for stm32mp157c-dk2 board? In STM32MP15 ecosystem release v1.2.0 st provides linux v4.19-stm32mp-r0 with some r3 patches and external fragment configs. While I am trying to build latest linux release for dk2 board, usb related drivers fail to build. I have applied provided patches and fragment configs. Is there any way to build and use latest stm32mp linux release with yocto or buildroot?Build logs are attached.

I am using rpmsg and OpenAMP framework for ipcc implementaion.I am trying to send some data from Cortex M4 to Cortex A7. Data array consists of integers of type uint16. But this transaction is happening properly. But when i use uint8, data is transferred properly. My question is, Is there any limitation on the data type in buffers? How can i send data of bigger data type to A7? Please help.
Hi, What mean kmsdrm no support dynamic loading ? But for example X11 can be dynamic loaded.I check this when try build SDL, but are there some another options to check dynamic loading in system ?Adrian
