Hi,I'm working QSMP-1570 SOM. There is STM32MP157C on it. I am trying to communicate between processors using RPMSG.I see that RPMSG's are formed under /dev.ttyRPMSG0, ttyRPMSG1.I'm opened serial port in linux side;if ((fd = open("/dev/ttyRPMSG0", O_RDONLY | O_NOCTTY)) < 0) { GL.status |= YNDL_STATUS_FATAL_ERROR; fd = STDERR_FILENO; return EXIT_FAILURE; }Then when i call function write();write(fd, buffer, 200); // return -1Function retruns errno:11 (Resource temporarily unavailable)Buffer in IPCC isn't it ring buffer?Why am I getting an error ?
Time out check load galcore module expiredwhay are we getting this, how to fix this, ?

Hi,I am working on a custom board based on STM32MP157F and I am having some issues with USB and EHCI driver in U-Boot as well as with USB and OTG controller in U-Boot and TF-A.Once Linux is booted USB with EHCI driver works fine, but in u-boot it doesn't work properly.When EHCI is enabled in u-boot it will usually detect a connected USB drive at first, but while trying to access it, I randomly get the following timeout messages:“EHCI timed out on TD - token=0x80008d80?It doesn’t seem to be a signal integrity issue though. In Linux it still works without setting any “phy-tuning? parameter in the device tree. However, when using the OHCI driver in U-Boot it is possible to access the usb drives just fine.Another issue that might be related to this is that DFU with USB-OTG is not working properly on the device.The ROM code is able to load the TF-A image via USB-OTG and run it, but after that the USB-OTG connection stops working.The last message from TF-A is:“INFO: DFU U
Hi,we are using Stm32mp157a-dk1 board.We installed dfu-util tool in ubuntu. i didn't find any device (i.e,it shows no dfu capable USB device available). What may be the issue?Thanks in advance.
I found the following errors when I burned kernel alone and starterpackage. May I ask why this was caused? The kernel is through https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/meta-st-stm32mp/blob/dunfell/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-stm32mp/README.HO W_to.txt teaching burn, Starterpackage is delivered via STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port= USb1 -w Flashlayout_st - image - weston/trusted/FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c - dk2 - trusted. Hi,I am planning to build an OTA update system for STM32MP1 which I have been using in my development. My question here is that linux based changes can be catered as part of *.swu files in case of OpenSTLinux for A7 , but how do we pack updates for the M4 core alongwith *.swu files for STM32MP1.What if I have couple of other MCU connected via JTAG to MP1 and I want to provide them with OTA update , how will I manage this via Yocto ?Really appreciated all the inputs.
I need to provide 32kHz clock at MCO1 output pin on STM32MP157. I have successfully configured u-boot to provide this clock but as soon as kernel is started clock disappears. After some checks I have found that clock is disabled.My question is if it is possible to create device tree entry to force kernel to enable MCO1 output ?RegardsArkadiusz

Hi everyone, I'm stucked into generating a stm32mp1 image with weston support. I 've followed the ST WIKI trying to generate the image, I made sure to have any depedencies installed and tried to rebuild twice the overall image starting from a fresh directory but without any luck. I also tried to generate the st-image-core image resulting with the same issue.I'm stucked into the last task called st-image-resize-initrdst-image-resize-initrd-1.0-r0 do_rootfs: The postinstall intercept hook 'update_mime_database' failed, details in /yocto/openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-03-31/build-openstlinuxweston-stm32mp1/tmp-glibc/work/stm32mp1-ostl-linux-gnueabi/st-image-resize-initrd/1.0-r0/temp/log.do_rootfs ERROR: Logfile of failure stored in: /yocto/openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-03-31/build-openstlinuxweston-stm32mp1/tmp-glibc/work/stm32mp1-ostl-linux-gnueabi/st-image-resize-initrd/1.0-r0/temp/log.do_rootfs.21295 ERROR: Task (/yocto/openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-03-31/layers/meta-st/meta-st-op
hi,i would like to know if there is an API for configuring, starting and stopping the timers (TIM1, TIM2, etc.) i'm interested in setting up a timer as a PWM device. i've come across documentation that talks about functions that can be used to set up a timer as a PWM device (e.g., pwm_apply_state, pwm_config, pwm_enable, etc.) but i can't find any documentation that describes these functions, the name of the library they are in or the header file to include. no can i find examples on how to use the API. i found examples on adding nodes to a device tree and how to use the sysfs interface. but, i would prefer to use a library if it exists.thank you,vincent j. buonassisi
Hi ,How we use the CRC unit on Linux in STM32MP1.My target is to use the CRC engine for verification of data at application layer.The link here mentions info about the crypto unit : Crypto API overview - stm32mpuBut in reference no module talks about CRC also OpenSSL does not support CRC.So how it can be used?TIA
Hi ,We are using stm32mp157a processor in our custom board.We want to configure Spi1 to Ethernet Switch(ksz9893rnxia) (Note : we have 2 slaves for Spi1 at Uboot level(Source code ver 2018.11). I have done Pin control and node creations in dts files.1) we are using spi_setup_slave(unsigned int bus, unsigned int cs,unsigned int max_hz, unsigned int mode) (In my case we gave parameters as follows spi_setup_slave(1,0,1000,0) for slave setup but We are getting 0 as return value.We confused about bus,cs,max_hz,mode parameters in spi_setup_slave() function.path for spi_setup_slave Function :"https://elixir.bootlin.com/u-boot/v2018.11/source/drivers/spi/spi-uclass.c#L103".2.if we have more than 1 slave how do we differentiate the cs numbers for spi.3.which driver function is used for spi transmitting and receiving data.Our spi related dts as follows. board_level dts:&spi1 { pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep";

Hello,I connected USB CN7 of STM32MP157A-DK1 to a PC with MS Windows.Sadly, the PC failed to find an RNDIS driver with:USB\VID_1D6B&PID_0104&MI_00\6&1164AF84&0&0000I tried to search for a driver, but I could not find any good.Both Windows XP and Windows 7 showed this.Where can I get a driver or an .inf for that?Thank you very much for your time.Sincerely.
I would like to configure USB_OTG_HS port as Virtual COM Port(VCP) on stm32mp157f-DK2 board. The board is running STLinux and the host is windows 10. I can see the debug usb port as COM6 on my windows-10 device manager - that works fine. I would like the USB_OTG port work similar as the debug port. Please any help will be appreciated.
We're working with the STM32MP157C SoC, and we're trying to troubleshoot the performance of a custom graphical application, using OpenEGL.It looks like Apitrace might be useful for this task, but I believe a copy is needed to run on the STM32MP157C, itself, in-order to generate the trace (which could then be read by Apitrace on another system). But, I'm under the impression that a special version is needed to be able to work with the GCNano GPU, and I have not been able to find it in Bitbake.Does anybody have experience with this, or know how to use Apitrace for making traces of OpenEGL applications running on the STM32MP157 family of SoCs?Thank you!

Hi, I have been working with the stm32mp157d-dk1, and im trying to keep a circuit on, waiting to a digital signal output produced by a script, but when i put the board on sleep mode, the signal automatically power off because the gpio module turns off too. Is there any way to know, natively, if the system still running, although it is sleep mode?
Hi,i currently trying to interact via shellscript and stm32cubeprog cli with my stm32mp157 board.I can run and load tfa and than uboot.
