Hi, I am setting up an ble audio project with STM32CubeIDE。There is no ble audio choose with STM32_WPAN view in STM32CubeMX。I just can select the ble choose that is Starts from a skeleton project with host stack & GAP and GATT initialization。 I copy the audio directory that contais ble audio library and headers from origin STM32Cube_FW_WBA_V1.3.0 to My Project/Middlewares/ST/STM32_WPAN/ble directory。But when i regenerate code from STM32CubeMX,the audio directory will be empty. How should I configure on STM32CubeMX to avoid empty my audio directory? Thanks
Hello,Could you tell me how can i enable clock access to SYSCFG in STM32WB55RG board, because i couldn't find the proper bit to enable SYSCFG in APBENR registers in the reference manual
I think you guys have an issue here with your return in aci_gap_slave_security_req_rp0.Command itself works fine, as android does show a Pair Request. But I get a error on the Status response. Looking in documents it is ACI_GAP_PERIPHERAL_SECURITY_REQ now.Wondering if name was changed following a fix in later stack ? which one? Issue in short:I see that the response has my connection handle ID instead of Status. My handle was 0x0801, and my Status fieldis 0x01. Please keep me updated on fix, I am on 1.16.04 .
Hello STM32 Community,I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out regarding a project we're developing using the STM32WL5MOCH6TR microcontroller. Our project requires the use of the Mbus stack protocol for communication purposes. However, when attempting to generate code using STM32CubeIDE, we noticed that there is no option for selecting the Mbus stack protocol in the .ioc file. This has left us wondering if drivers for the Mbus stack protocol are available for the STM32WL5MOCH6TR microcontroller. We would greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide guidance on where to find or how to obtain the drivers for the Mbus stack protocol compatible with the STM32WL5MOCH6TR microcontroller. Additionally, if anyone has experience working with the Mbus stack protocol on STM32WL5MOCH6TR or a similar platform, we would welcome any advice or insights you may have.Thank you in advance for your assistance and support.Best regards,Taksh Patel.
Hello again, I'm using STM32WB, the name and the image of HeartRate service is visible on my mobile device but I can't set the name and the image for my own service which I create it Why?
Hi,We are evaluating using the Nucleo-WB55RG with Matter for a project. This would require being able to commission and interact with the device from Google Home using a Google Nest device as the border router. We are unable to setup the device in Google Home app, logs from the Nucleo for the failed connection are attached. The error message seems to be `CHIP:BLE: no endpoint for unsub recvd`We have used the Lighting-App from GitHub. We rebuilt the application using STM32CubeIDE, we have flashed the correct RCP binaries using the STM32CubeProgrammer. So far we have tried different 2 different Routers, a Google Nest Audio and a Google Nest Mini as the border routers, and both a Google Pixel 8, a Google Pixel 1, and an iPhone 15 Pro to initiate the commissioning. Any help would be much appreciated! Let me know if I can provide any other information.Cheers,
Hello,I am pretty new to BLE-Application and trying to build my first own app using the STM-BLE-Stack.I've been writing about my process in a previous thread (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/stm32wb-ble-update-char-from-main-c/m-p/589220#M16405), but want to be more precise now.My STM32 should work as server and send sensor data to a client, at first just a smartphone using the BLE Toolbox application.I generated a project according to ST's YouTube-Tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKYWy7LKL68&list=PLnMKNibPkDnG9JRe2fbOOpVpWY7E4WbJ-&index=16) and can read and write to my characteristics from my smartphone. Now I want to update a BLE-characteristic from my main application, i.e. main.c. I want to transfer sensor data and send a notification to my client that new data is available.I know about the functions aci_gatt_update_char_value() and in my case (cause I used the custom template) Custom_STM_App_Update_Char()
I'm trying to allow re-connects only for whitelisted devices.I have a phone which is bonded (pass key security) and connected with no problems. On device disconnect i do the following:aci_gap_configure_whitelist(); aci_gap_set_undirected_connectable(Advertising_Interval_Min, Advertising_Interval_Max, 0, WHITE_LIST_FOR_ALL);I'm trying to connect again with the same device, but it's not able to.No one is able to connect at this point, even though device is discoverable. I have verified with aci_gap_is_device_bonded before calling aci_gap_configure_whitelist and the device is bonded, so the call to aci_gap_configure_whitelist should have added the device to whitelist. I also tried adding the device to whitelist with hci_le_add_device_to_white_list but got same results. Using BLE FW Stack: 1.8.0
Hello, I made 2 project about client and server using stm32wb1mmc product. > server project is using "custom p2p server" It works well but I want to improve usability. 1. How to reduce scan time for connect client to server? > I quote it from examples. use "CFG_TASK_START_SCAN_ID" when external pin interrupt is set. so when button is pushed, client start scan request. after 10s appx, client can be connected server. I want to reduce this time. > Or is it possible to scan as soon as the power is applied? In my case it didn't work due to Hardfault. 2. How to enter sleep(stop) mode cpu2? As far as I know, cpu2 can't enter stop mode after cpu1 & cpu2 booted completely. If it is correct, is it no way to cpu2 enter sleep and wake up? 3.I don't think the low power settings are working correctly. In my case, it consumes around 6mA. What are some settings I've missed?
Hello Thank you for your help always I hope for a positive reply on this because it has indeed stressed me for some good time please help me Am using a temperature sensor and I want to be receiving the sensor values from the st ble toolbox app every time a connection is established between my peripheral and the phone. I can read my data from the sensor well but sending this data is still becoming a problem, I have read through all the responses from this community regarding the notification but am not able to get a clear solution . Kindly help me on this I will be very grateful. Hoping for a positive reply soon
I would like to implement a BLE peripheral without using UTIL_SEQ.The sample project BLE_Peripheral_Lite seems to realize BLE functionality without using UTIL_SEQ, but when I add BLE functionality in STM32CubeMX, it is automatically set to use UTIL_SEQ. without using UTIL_SEQ. Is there any way to output source code by CubeMX without using UTIL_SEQ?Also, if UTIL_SEQ is not used, is it possible to use Timer Sever or Low power manager? Please tell us the other limitations of not using UTIL_SEQ.
Zigbee is used for wireless communication with reference to Zigbee_OnOff_Router_NVM. The problem I'm currently facing is when connecting multiple routers and sending data every 2 seconds, the APP_ZIGBEE_persist_save freezes for about 30 seconds at regular intervals. What could be the cause of this?
Hi ST experts.I used the pingpong sample code with the tutorial I have found in the TechForum: Link of the tutorial in order to establish the radio frequency communication between two Nucleo-WL55JC2 boards and it works. And then I tried to communicate with the device that has this configuration It didn't work with my code, I searched for the problem and I found on the configuration of the subghz: What is the role of the baudrate prescaler value for the subghz configuration?and what changes should I make?
Hi All,I'm currently testing Thread cli with STM32WB5xx Nucleo Board with stm32_ftd.bin v1.17 for the coprocessor firmware.I got an issue when sending the "Coaps connect <ipv6 add>", I got "Invalid Args" as return valueDid anyone test the coaps secure with OT cli before? Thank you!
hello.I was interested in stm32wb5MM, so I purchased the stm32wb5MM-dk board. The demo that ran when I powered on this board was very interesting as I was planning a similar project.I searched for STM32CubeWB to see the code, but the Demontrations folder was empty. How can I get the Demontrations code of stm32wb5MM-dk?
Hello,I'm seeking guidance on transmitting data (char buffer[]) via BLE communication using my STM32WB30CE. I've integrated this MCU into my custom-designed development board. I've successfully activated the BLE Stack and can identify my device through the ST BLE Toolbox. Could someone assist me in understanding how to transfer my data? While I'm aware of the existence of templates, they don't align with my specific needs...Thank you in advance!
Hello, I want to make my end node will send join request to the gateway continuously in every five second. My goal is send join request continuously until end node connected to the gateway and if connection is break after join with server, then again send join request contiguously. Thank you in advance.
I am trying to use the indication property instead of the notification property based on the heart rate example for the WB55. I have modified the gatt characteristic to advertise an indication. I have the android I am connecting to sending a CCCD to which it gets a successful response. I then try to send my indication. To send an indication instead of a notification I believe I have to use: aci_gatt_update_char_value_ext function. I am unsure of the parameters required and there seems to be no up to date documentation for this function that includes all parameters. I know that my notification call works that looks like so:result = aci_gatt_update_char_value(aTemplateContext.TemplateSvcHdle, //Service Handle aTemplateContext.TemplateNotifyServerToClientCharHdle, //Char Handle 0, /* Value offset */ TEST_PAYLOAD_LENGTH, /* value length */ (uint8_t *) pPayload); //ValueBut my call to the extended function returns an INVALID_PA
Hi, I want to make a costume PCB board with the STM32WBA52CG on it, where can I find the reference schematic to make it work? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Mats
Hi ST Community,I´m doing my first try with the board STEVAL-ASTRA1B, try to run the example binary for Logistic.LoRa can not join the network:on the APP ST Asset Tracking there is no data from GPS:some hints? Thanks in advanced.
I'm trying to create an application that sends information from a sensor connected to STM32WB (P-Nucelo WB55) to another device over BLE via notify. I followed each and every instruction in this video posted by STM, but that application simply doesn't work. The value of the characteristic remains zero even after pressing the button. Is the information in the video still relevant? I just need a simple way to transmit a buffer over BLE and I unfortunately can't find any resources on how to do that.
When will the Reference Manual be available?Yes, I saw the duck-and-run non-answer when someone asked in February. I'd like a real answer.
Is there such command?
I see it has the WB55M and another WL module on it.How is then the low power mode controlled? Is it separate for each module? Can I disable the other module? keep the WB55M only ?
HI, I added PLL to the Clocks , but that totally broke the sleep behaviour and I get no RF.
