Posted on April 21, 2018 at 17:36Hi, I got this very cool board that has a STM32L0 attached to a semtech 1276.http://www.acsip.com.tw/index.php?action=products-detail&fid1=21&fid2=&fid3=&id=73 first time for me to play with MCU other than Atmel(arduino IDE), so the learning curve is a bit steep.I got myself a ST-Link, installed Atollic IDE.Now trying to send my first LORA message to TNN, I'm looking at the all the example on the semtech LoraNode github but they all depends on specific hardware platforms(Mote, Motell..)..Since they hockup GPS, Sensors and many other stuff, it gets confusing and not sure where to start just to send a simple hello world to TTN. without having to re-create all sensor //or brute removing lines of code that might be necessary to run it..I'd like a simple example like they use in the LMIC library.. that's bit more straight forward to the point (without all other sensors things) But that will still work with the chip I'm using...Any one h
Hello, I am using STM32L152RE board and Hoperf RFM95 LoRa Module..So can you guide me through this..? It will be helpful if I get some libaries for this. Thanks and Regards,Umesh
Hello,I have two B-L072Z-LRWAN1 development kits. I downloaded I-CUBE-LRWAN which is LoRaWAN software expansion for STM32Cube.Normally I practice with TrueStudio . However, sample file haven’t any example for this IDE. Then, i downloaded SW4STM32. Even so, i can’t debug examples. Can anybody help for this. Thanks.
I am using the I-Cube-lrwan driver on the B-L072z-lrwan1 disco kit and I would like to implement the sensors without the NUCLEO board. where do I have to implement this code?
I am using V1.1.5 of the LoRa software expansion for STM32Cube and have come across an issue which leaves the stack unusable until reset.Although the problem was first encountered in our application project, I verified that the problem also occurred when using the AT command line slave project that is shipped with the package, thus making it easy to reproduce. The set of circumstances that create the problem are:1. AT+NJM=1 to enable OTAA join mode.2. AT+CFM=1 to enable confirmed messages.3. AT+JOIN to join the network.4. AT+NJS=? to query join status (repeat until joined). 5. Disable Gateway.6. AT+SEND=1,1 to send message.7. Send will timeout due to no ACK being received.8. Enable Gateway.9. &n
Hey!I would like to have a constant spreading factor and bandwidth when my node is transmitting data and I cannot find where I can set these parameters.I thought I would set datarate in RegionEU868.h and control these parameters this way but it doesn't work.Help would be much appreciated!
I have L073RZ and LoRa mbed SX1272 with me. Where can i get the LoRa node code? i want to develop a node with L073RZ and SX1272.
Hi, I haven't found a .IOC file for the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 discovery board -- has anyone created or found such a file. I would like to use the STM Cube L0 to generate initialisation code but I need an IOC file for that. I have been looking at the intialisation in LRWAN add on library and creating an IOC from that, but it's easy to get it wrong. So would appreciate if anyone else has already done this (or found it from ST sources?). I could not find an IOC file in the LRWAN add-on library, even though the document on rules of add-on libraries says that one should be present in the library. Thanks in advance,Brian
Hi,I have two boards that I would like to use with the I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 expansion board:NUCLEO-F411RE and NUCLEO-L152RE.Is any of them compatible with I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1?Thanks.
Question isn't new, but I couldn't find the answer in existing threads. The stop current on the Discovery Kit loaded with End_Node project is above 3 mA. The low power mode is enabled; jumpers in correct positions; software version 1.1.5Getting same results on our custom board. Can anyone provide an explanation what to look for in the source code? Also it will be helpful to get a simple binary doing nothing: disabling TCXO; and putting CPU in the Stop mode.
Hello everybody, I'm new on this platform.Currently, I am testing separately, the working of the Lora and Sigfox stacks on the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 evaluation board. The sample program I use for each stack is the AT Modem. And each stack works very well.I want now, create a program/firmware wich mixes both stacks. That is, a program that allows with the use of an AT command, to switch from one stack to another. All in one programSo, is there already a program/firmware of this kind?Thank you in advance for your answers
#define U1RxBufSize 256#define U1TxBufSize 2048int16_t U1RxBufferPtrIN, U1RxBufferPtrOUT, U1TxBufferPtrIN, U1TxBufferPtrOUT=0;char readableU1(void) { U1RxBufferPtrIN = U1RxBufSize - __HAL_DMA_GET_COUNTER(huart4.hdmarx); return U1RxBufferPtrIN - U1RxBufferPtrOUT;} int check_GPSBufferSize(void) { int currentBufferLength = readableU1(); if (currentBufferLength > 0) PRINTF("Have Buffer Length %d \n", currentBufferLength); return currentBufferLength ; }int main{ Buffer[0] = 'P'; Buffer[1] = 'I'; Buffer[2] = 'N'; int buffLength = check_GPSBufferSize(); if (!buffLength) { Buffer[3] = 'G'; } else&nbs
Hi I received this P-Nucleo-LRWan1 kit and I want to first load the EndNode code, I am using the I-CUBE-LRWAN with AC6. Can I observe the RF signal on RF Spectrum Analyzer once the kit is working with the EndNode code? After the above test, I wan to update the code so that the EndNode stays in the sleep mode until it receives a query from server/ gateway and it then wakes up and replies back and goes back to sleep mode. How can I do that? I think the functionality would not depend on any timer anymore and would not need periodic transmission on its own. I need only bare Rx and TX functionality. How can I do that?Appreciate your help.. Thanks in advance!Silas
Posted on November 08, 2017 at 15:48I don't understand how rtc library work in lrwan module. Some code (as the Utilities/timeServer.c) use tick (from rtc) value to get elapsed time.By using TimerGetCurrentTime then a little bit letter TimerGetElapsedTime we can have elapsed time in ms.But if we update the rtc betwwen this two call.... this does not work....So my question is : How rtc can be update in this library ? To put it at the correct current datetime.#rtc #murata-cmwx1zzabz-lrwan1-(ver1.1.1)
I'm a beginner. I'd appreciate your help.
Hi, I'm using the OTAA sx1276mb1mas of End_Node code of I Cube LRWAN V 1.2.0(Downloaded from STM).I want to use that code on STM32L152 discovery board, for that i'm converting with understandable changes and generate it from CubeMX.Now by disabling Low power mode(For debugging) i'm trying to send the data randomly, but after initialization and performing all the init procedure it won't display anything like Txtimeout or TxDone. Now i'm completely tiered from this because i'm not getting where it has been stuck or where is the problem. Can anyone help me for this?Small help can create an big impact for me.Thank you!
Please guide me on how to use STM32 with Arduino base to use complete LoRaWAN stack from STM. I plan to use STM32 for with Arduino boot loader to use control Lora Module via SPI. Need to know if there is any standard library which can be used to have all AT commands executed Via arduino commands.
I'm using the examples for SigFox stack for B-l072Z-LRWAN1 - with Atollic Studio as IDEAfter converting the project from SW4STM32 to Atollic (there is a project import built in) - when compiling the code for the push_button application I'm getting a dozen warnings like/../../../../../../../Drivers/STM32L0xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/stm32l0xx_ll_spi.h:1133:3: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break strict-aliasing rules [-Wstrict-aliasing] *((__IO uint16_t *)&SPIx->DR) = TxData; Are these these warnings harmless? They look pretty serious to me.Thanks,AurelianPS- the board hangs when trying to transmit.
I want to get gps information using p nucleo lrwan1. Can I get an open source that can help? I'll use the uart port.(gps)
Posted on April 05, 2018 at 16:15Hello. I'm working on a Lora project using the NUCLEO-L073RZ and the end-node application. I've a gateway that receives lora messages and transmits them to a network server. I've seen that the End node application sends periodically a lora message, (with a period of about ten seconds) and after about 6 minutes it stops to transmit. I can't understand how the application work and If I can unmount the timer server utility from the lora stack. My aim is to create an end node application that sends only when an interrupt arrives. Thanks in advance for the help#lora-nucleo-l073rz #lora #end-node-application
I'm going to run a ping-pong example with two p-nucleo-lrwan1. How do I separate the master from the slave? Terminal uses 'tera Term'.
Dear support, Does ST released new AT commands documents instead UM2245 ? does new AT modem firmware is available ? The current firmware for AT commands doesn't have AT$IF? for freq. checking. The firmware didn't allow to change freq. for Hopping tests. Hopping command work but in default freq. 868Mhz.
Posted on May 09, 2018 at 09:58 Hi, I have some problems with the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback for USART1. When I send some bytes from my pc (by serial monitor application) to the USART1 theHAL_UART_RxCpltCallback it's called occasionally. I use the same code for configure the USART2 and its works fine... when a char is received the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallbackis called correctly. I'm developing on the STM32L072CZ withCubeExpansion_LRWAN. My code is: define UART USART1 define UART_TX_PIN GPIO_PIN_9 define UART_RX_PIN GPIO_PIN_10 define UART_GPIO_PORT GPIOA define UART_AF GPIO_AF4_USART1 define UART_RCC_CLK_ENABLE() __HAL_RCC_USART1_CLK_ENABLE(); define GPIO_PORT_RCC_CLK_ENABLE() __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); define UART_IRQn USART1_IRQn define NUM_BYTE_RCV_IT 1 void SERIAL_Uart_IoInit(void); //Uart Handle UART_HandleTypeDef serialConfHandle; uint8_t confRxBuffer[NUM_BYTE_RCV_IT]; /*! * @brief Initializes the UART interface * @param None * @retval None */ void DEVCONFSERIAL_Init
Posted on June 25, 2018 at 16:53Hi there,I have spent the last days trying to get this module to work with my current application.I want to use this module as LoRa modem to communicate with my app. I am using a F103.I am using a custom board where I have just connected my F103 uart to this module's uart. But it seems to be awake all times. I have never seen it going lower than 1.22mA. Even when my micro is in stand by. Where Could I check how I should set every single pin in this module to achieve the best low power consumtion?I have seen some issues with the current AT firmware too. Sometimes it starts to return AT_ERROR even when the command is ok. It usually happens when I try to send data with AT+SENDB... Once it starts, only option is power it off and on again to make it works fine for another 10 minutes. In ABP mode, module usually answer that it is connected to network but it never reaches the base station. Besides that, sometimes downlink packet gets increased by 1 each ti
