To focus on one project I close all the other projects.But still by pressing CMD-B (Mac) all MX-projects get rebuild.The closed MX-projects can still be collapsed/uncollapsed.Search ...Problems Tab ...This very time consuming.I think this should not be the case by default.
I found a mistake in RM0434 in IPCC description.Figure 399 IPCC Simplex - Send procedure state diagram.After the rectangle with "UNMASK Channel N free interrupt" should be "Write CHnFM = 0" instead of "Write CHnFM = 1"Thanks.
It would be very useful if STM32WL had a module like STM32WBxM. Knowing the answer to this question will be useful for planning our R&D.
I cannot find the external requirement for wakeup pins PA0, PC13 and PB3 on STM32WL55.Do they need a pullup (e.g. 10K) to keep the output state once the MCU goes into one of the sleep modes?Thanks

Hi, I'm working on the Lora project. I have a STM32F767ZI board and an I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 module. As I understood from the manual to the module. The module is programmed using AT commands via UART. I set up USART3 on my board to communicate with a PC that works properly. I set up USART6 in the same way to send commands to the module. But when I try to send something to USART6 (speed 115200) my STM32 restarts. I will be happy for any idea.Or if someone was dealing with something similar, I would like to be inspired. Thank you
Good day,So the STM32WB microcontrollers have all been tested and qualified with the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). (Search for "STM32WB" on here: https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/Listings/Search).However, the new STM32WB5MMG module does not appear to be on there.Seeing as this module has been tested to comply to various international certifications (CE, FCC, IC, JRF, SRRC, RoHS, REACH, GOST, KC, NCC), I find it odd that it has not been tested with the Bluetooth SIG.Is this a certification that can be expected sometime soon? If so, does that mean that a new product using this module will not require any further testing and will only need to be qualified with the Bluetooth SIG (no testing)?Or have I missed some relevant information regarding the STM32WB5MMG and it actually has a QQID with the Bluetooth SIG?
Hello,I am a beginner with ble. I have worked with other stm boards in the past. I need help with the STM32WB baord.I used cube mx to generate the start up code. Enabled rf, rtc and everything.Enabled custom template in server modeadded a service and a characteristic to that service.The code generated from cubemx has a file named custom_app.cin there under the Custom_APP_Init function , i added the following code.uint8_t bdaddr[] = {0x12, 0x34, 0x00, 0xE1, 0x80, 0x02}; if(aci_hal_write_config_data(CONFIG_DATA_PUBADDR_OFFSET, 6, bdaddr)) { APP_DBG_MSG("Setting address failed.\n"); } aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(0x01,0x1f); /* The following 128bits UUIDs have been generated from the random UUID generator: D973F2E0-B19E-11E2-9E96-0800200C9A66: Service 128bits UUID D973F2E1-B19E-11E2-9E96-0800200C9A66: Characteristic_1 128bits UUID */ Service_UUID_t service_uuid; Char_UUID_t char_uuid; /*Service 128bits UUID */ const uint8_t uuid[16] = {0x66, 0x9a, 0x0c, 0x20, 0x00, 0
Hello, community!I need to design a device that can work from a single-cell Li-Ion battery (~500mAh) of at least 1.5 years. STM32WB55 has SMPS which can increase consumption efficiency, the maximum input voltage for SMPS is 3.6V but the battery voltage range equal to 3-4.2V, so I can't directly connect the Li-Ion cell to STM32. So what method will be more preferable for supplying STM32, maybe external LDO or a few diodes in series to decrease input voltage or other method?Most of the time device is working only with active BLE and waiting for the command which sets one of the pins in the high state and enables all other onboard electronics.
After the Return instruction, the Cortex M goes into Hardflault.I use the STM32CubeIder 1.5.1.. It uses sequencer.c. I attach two screen prints:The:void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback, where there is a breakpointand that of the fault analyzer:
Hello Geeks!I'm playing with STM32WB.Actually, I'm using in one of our product as an SOCI'm using the Former version of the Cube packages, i guess "1.7.x"As we all know, the former version of the Cube packages was unstable and almost impossible to play with the Cube generated file And, that's how i'd just adopted the RF stack from the FreeRTOS HeartRate demo The entire code was Working for me, before few days also (Including BLE part)--- PROBLEM STATEMENT ---But Now the problem is, when i have update the latest Cube packages then Suddenly BLE stops the advertising I have debug the Code line by line and here is the debug result APPE_Init ----> Called appe_Tl_Init ----> Called (Init Transport layer)ShciUserEvtProcess ----> Thread CreatedTL_Enable ----> Called LL_PWR_EnableBootC2 ---> Called (C2BOOT bit Set to 1)Now the issue is ShciUserEvtProcess Thread is always wait forever (Waiting for to set the flag during shci_notify_asynch_evt Call, but unfortunately it's never eve
Board: Nucleo-WB55I'm attempting to continuously interrupt when data is received via UART. The program is able to receive data when it is sent without fail, however the Rx interrupt is triggered when new data is not sent. I implement the following logic in my HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback routine: void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *UartHandle) { strcpy((char*)command, (char*)UART1_rxBuffer); rx_flag = 1; HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, UART1_rxBuffer, 5); }I call HAL_UART_Receive_IT after each complete call back so that a new receive request is ready. My methodology is clearly missing something, perhaps clearing a buffer or resetting a flag somewhere?
Hello We are using STM32WB55xx STM32WB35xx Nucleo board with STM Ble stack. We want to transfer data around 2Mbytes after connection.After connection, we are only able to transfer around 100Kbytes of data after that connection is getting lost.What is maximum MTU supported by stack?Any examples which support maximum data transfer of 1Mbytes.Any configuration settings which will increase data throughput.
Is it possible to pasively scan on this kit? Example with active scan works(BLE_p2pRouteur from git repo).Just to understand what I need - chip have to to advertise data while pasively scan all beacons around.Moreover in document PM0271 Rev 1, July 2020 "STM32WB BLE stack programmingguidelines. Programming manual" in section 4.3.2 said to use callback "void hci_le_advertising_report_event(uint8_t Num_Reports, Advertising_Report_t Advertising_Report[])". There is declaration of this function(definition is for user) but never called anywhere. The only possible way is to use "SVCCTL_UserEvtFlowStatus_t SVCCTL_App_Notification(void *pckt)" callback handling subevents. Is there any way to use callback from documentation?
I'd like to set the connection interval to 4 seconds so that I know that my BLE is inactive for the longest period. (I have very low throughput requirement) - how do I do this using the sSTM32_WPAN middleware? I need my software to do something specific when the RF is not transmitting and receiving. Can I know when a Communication Event occurs so that I know that I have a 'quiet RF window' for my processing?
I am using BLE_OTA example in STM32 Cube WB package. I cant debug the code step by step in Cube IDE.
Board: STM32WB55-NUCLEO PackI am unable to change the channel being read by the ADC using the included code. I have set the number of conversion to 3 in the ADC configurations. I am not using the DMA but am polling. uint32_t get_battery_voltage(){ sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_3 ; sConfig.Rank = 1; if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1,&sConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); if(HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1,5)==HAL_OK){ state.battery_voltage = (double)(HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1)); state.battery_voltage = (state.battery_voltage/4095)*3.3; } HAL_Delay(50); HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc1); return state.battery_voltage; }
Dear all,I am trying to set-up the internal PLL for running @ 48-MHz.I can easily set-up the clock tree to achieve frequencies lower than 44-MHz, but when I try 48-MHz, the cpu does not end from the loop that verify that the PLL is OK.The FLASH is set with 2 WS.I routed on the MCO the cpu clock and it is correctly set @ 48-MHzHere is my PLL initialization...// For f(ck in) = 16-MHz (HSI16)// f(out) = f(vco) / R f(out) = 48-MHz, R = 4 ---> f(vco) = 192-MHz// f(vco) = f(ck in) * (N/M) N/M = 48/4 = 12 ---> N = 48, M = 4// f(rng) = f(vco) / Q Q = 4 ---> f(rng) = 49.5-MHz// f(adc) = f(vco) / P P = 4 ---> f(adc) = 49.5-MHz RCC->PLLCFGR = ((4-1)<<29) // R = 4 | (1<<28) // PLLR enabled | ((4-1)<<25) // Q = 4 | (1<<24) // PLLQ enabled | ((4-1)<<17) // P = 4 | (1<<16) // PLLP enabled | (48<<8) // N = 48 | ((4-1)<<4) // M = 4 | (2<&
Like direction finding (AoA or AoD) or LE audio?I'm looking for a dev/demo board with an already-prepared demo of the functionality mentioned above.
Is there any specific shutdown procedure, or can I just pull the power?Specifically, on The Things Network (TTN)
I've deleted entire FLASH memory of STM32WB55 during testing. Is there a way to restore FUS and with that the wireless binaries?As I understand they are encrypted so just writing them isn't working. Is there some tool to do that?
Hello I am going to use STM32WB55Vx for my aplication and have a question about choosing 32MHz HSE quartz crystal. The document "AN5042 HSE trimming for RF applications using the STM32WB Series" determines Gm ( the transfer conductance of the HSE amplifier ) as vlaue from 0.18 to 2.84 mA/V. For stable operation, I have to chose 32MHz quartz crystal with Gmcrit ( minimal transconductance of an oscillator) is 5 (GAINmargin) times smaller (acording to AN2867 Oscillator design guide for STM8AF/AL/S and STM32 microcontrollers). The crystal NX2016SA 32 MHz EXS00A-CS06654 (from AN5042) has parametres: Cl =8pF, Co~ 1pF, ESR = 60 Ohm so Gmcrit ~= 0.6366 and GAINmargin =4.46 for the greatest Gm 2.84 mA/V. I think it is difficult to find oscillator for GAINmargin>= 5 taking into account embedded capacity bank 12-16pF HSETUNE[5:0]. Сan confirm operation
I want to use a part of the memory of SRAM2a with CPU1 (M4) with STM32WB50x. Is that possible? (01) I changed the LENGTH of RAM_SHARD of the ld file to 6K and buffered 10KByte from 0x20031800 of SRAM2a, but when I received many packets of Mac802.15.4, the contents of the buffer were changed and the Wireless Stack changed. I feel like I'm doing it. (02) I changed the IPCCDBA of Option Byte of SRAM2a from 0x0 to 0x2800 and changed the ORIGIN of RAM_SHARD of the ld file to 0x20032800, but the IPCC receive interrupt did not occur.
Hello. I'm going to proceed with the Murata module project.I downloaded the AT_SLAVE example source on the EVK LoRa® Discovery kit (B-L072Z-LRWAN1) to confirm that the data communicates well.The binary used in the above project was downloaded to the custom board and sent the data as it did on the development board, but the data was not received on gateway.The configuration of the custom board is connected to another stm32 mcu by the Murata module (CMWX1ZZABZ) as uart.When the "AT+SEND=0:hello" command was sent to the lora module, i received an OK response, but no data came into the gateway.It's a good method on the development board.When I download the binary to Murata module on the custom board, should I download it with a different option than the one I downloaded to Murata module on the development board?
