Hi , I was using LoRaWAN_AT_Slave example code for NUCLEO-WL55JC1 Board on STMCUBEIDE .AT command response was OK but , the configured values are not getting stored into flash (upon reset getting the default values)..CONTEXT_MANAGEMENT_ENABLED and MAX_PERSISTENT_CTX_MGMT_ENABLED are disabled by default . By enabling these flags i am getting "error: unknown type name 'NvmmDataBlock_t'" and few more errors.am i missing any configurations?Reference doc : https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00699239-lorawan-at-commands-for-stm32cubewl-stmicroelectronics.pdfThanks.
Hi, I would like to store the data acquired from external sensor to my AWS cloud, is there any app that can help with this ? There is option of "Cloud Logging" in "ST BLE sensor" smartphone app , is this option meets my requirements ?Thank you in advance
I am using the Nucleo WB55 Development Board, how do I set up the (Programmable voltage detector) PVD and get it to work?
I would like to look at the register to see which values are stored inside that register. Then I would like to use that number to do operations.
When starting connectable undirected advertising mode by calling "aci_gap_set_discoverable(...)" it turns out that the advertiser sends AD with "Flags" type (0x01) and "TX power level" type (0x0A). As a restriction of the application, I need to remove the "TX power level" AD. From CSS v9 Table 1.1, this data type is optional. So, I've tried to delete this AD type calling "aci_gap_delete_ad_type(0x0A)" after "aci_gap_set_discoverable(...)".The problem is that sometimes, although the function to start advertising ends with success code, the function to delete AD type returns the error = BLE_STATUS_NOT_ALLOWED (0x46), and that prevents the BLE controller to start the advertising mode.Is there a way to start advertising only with AD type "Flags", without calling "aci_gap_delete_ad_type(0x0A)"?Currently I'm using STM32WB v1.11.1 package, but I already tried with v1.9.0 too.
Does stm32wb support homekit?
Please kindly help me . Any leads would be appreciated
Hi, the timers of my STM32WB55x aren't working exactly as I anticipated.Symptoms: By conventional wisdom that I accumulated when using other MCUs under different brands, if the CNT is modified to a different value, the counter should keep counting from that new, modified value.Except this is not the case. If I modify the CNT register to pretty much any value, the CNT value in Keil's watch window will immediately be reduced to a really tiny, close-to-zero value and an interrupt will immediately be triggered. But, if I modify the ARR register, the counter seem to be able to count a length that is slightly shorter than desired one, instead of a period that is precisely as expected, I came to this conclusion by measuring it with a stopwatch. It's not perfect but at least it works... somehow. In short, if I want to modify the timer cycle on the fly, I need to modify the ARR register instead of the CNT register. My questions are :Have I forgot to set/reset certain bit(s) which caused thi
Dear ST community, I have 2 Nucleo WL55 highband boards and I suspect that there has been a mislabelling of the device. As I am aware of, only the D-04 version of this board is sold. However, my board has several pins that do not correspond to the ones mentionned in the datasheet. By looking closely at my device, I see that the sticker label mentions the D-04 version, however, on the PCB itself I see D-01 (see image below). Is it possible to obtain the User manual and schematic for this version of the board? I cannot find it anywhere and it is really painful to probe each pin to reverse engineer the PCB connections. Thanks in advance, Balazs Udvarhelyi
I'm trying to get started using the STM32WLE5-series chip, and I'm really struggling to figure out how to get the `AT` firmware example going. I see it in the SDK package, but it's only for the STM32WL5-series (dual-core) chips. I see this setting in the .ioc file, but it doesn't tell me how to get to the Examples List? Thanks!
STM32CubeMonRF: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubemonrf.htmlSeems to apply to BLE and IEEE 802.15.4 only?Is there anything similar for sub-GHz ?
I need more flexibility in my project(s) and I have now left the Arduino-world for a new hardware design around the STM32H7.Two general questions:Are there any resource libraries covering useful C-drivers for commonly used sensors or displays? Like simple IMU:s, temperature and smaller displays.Does ST has any best-of-practice recommendation for a STM32-board design with a Wi-Fi connection? For instance, I am considering the Murata LBEE5KL1D (Wi-Fi + BLE) which is currently used on the Portenta board. Thanks in advance
Hi everyone,I'm currently trying to build a lora project with I-Cube-LRWAN v2.0.0 and CubeIDE.I've been able to use the "End Node" example as-is but a can't include the library in a CubeMX project. My goal is to have the .ioc file and the library in the same project. This way, I want to be able to add peripherals to the project with the .ioc. (ADC2 for example)It seems that the newer version of the library have been made for this purpose but I can't make it work.I'm using a Nucleo-l476rg and sx1276mb1mas board.Do you guys have any idea ?Thanks in advance
I think I got the setup for the Real-Time-Clock (RTC), but how do I verify it is working? Is there a way to output the timestamps or check through a file? I am using the STM32WB55 Nucleo Board, and currently using the STM32 IDE.
or if I must write my own code, how to do itThank you,
Is it possible for stm32WB to recieve audio from a mobile device via bluetooth and at the same time send the audio to another device like headphones or wilreless earphones via bluetooth .Reception and Transmission should work simulteneously.Does it suppourt this ?
Does the STM32WB have drivers to support serial communication over it's USB port?

Hi, Working with FW_WB_V.10.0, have a few questions:After viewing the workshop tutorial, I saw multiple code insertions to the project. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNfIGh30kSs). Are they necessary?Started working with FW_WB_V.10.0, can I safely upgrade to FW_WB_V.11.0/1? What are the differences? And is it somehow related to my previous question? In cubeMX, in the custom BLE example and in general, can we change the names of the services and characteristics from inside the cubeMX? To be later generated to code? This can save tedious name changes and functions in codeThanks
Hi everyone,STM32WB5MMGH6TR has DXF/3D or CAD files for design?I use Kicad more often for designOliver

I have a custom board with a STM32WB55 that is getting stuck in the sequencer and stops executing as soon as I start my code. I can't tell if it's a race condition and I don't have the ability to step through the code with a debugger. The code is basically just a slightly modified version of the Nucleo Heartbeat code example. Running stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full v1.11.1. Here's my main():int main(void) { /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); //Init_Exti(); MX_IPCC_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); /* Init code for STM32_WPAN */ APPE_Init(); UTIL_SEQ_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ UTIL_SEQ_Run( UTIL_SEQ_DEFAULT ); /* USER COD
Does anyone have an experience with binary open source solution from Stackforce? Is it a .a library for gcc linking?
I have read different articles of STM and received different mails to use TCXO to give 32MHz clock. I could not find the reason and impact of it. In my application, it is outdoor and able to go temperature upto 85C temperature and using 22dB with 865MHz and its low power device. My questions are:1- If i use normal crystal of 10PPM (frequency tolerance and stability), what is the issue? what is the drift i can expect in clock and how it is going to impact the RF communication or any other place in MCU?2- what is the PPM budget defined for STM32WL? (referred AN2867)3- i have choosen below crystals, kindly confirm, which one can i use ?ECS-320-8-37B-7KY-TR ECS Inc. | Crystals, Oscillators, Resonators | DigiKeyECS-320-10-37B-CKY-TR ECS | Mouser IndiaECS-320-8-36B-CKY-TR ECS | Mouser IndiaECS-320-8-47B-7KY-TR ECS Inc. | Crystals, Oscillators, Resonators | DigiKey 4- if i have to use TCXO only, can i use below part as used part in nucleo board is not available?TG2520SMN 32.0000M-ECGNNM3 Epson
Hello,I have read the datasheet/reference manual on stm32WL generic format, i also looked into the cube wl sources. From the source codes i understand that stm32wl integrates semtech sx162x radio. I have not been able to pinpoint anything more specific about the radio than this. (at least i didnt find semtech radio that can do bpsk)The question is about generic packet format - all semtech devices have FSK format (variable length) as :preamble+syncword+length+address+payload+crcThis packet looks very very compatible with existing solutions (eg from TI.com)BUT!in stm32wl reference manual this format is presented as:preamble+access address+packet length + 1 BIT + payload + CRCCould someone knowledgeable comment on this ? (someone ST related) Because to me it looks that datasheet is wrong. Or ST added single bit just to be incompatible with everything that is currently being used on the planet. Or i dont know.
