Hi, i m working on a project with : B-L072Z-LRWAN and i m using LORIOT as a network server. i want to visualize my data on a Cayenne dashboard . i can't see the data on the dashboard i think i need to change the format of the data to LPP . i m using the I-cube-lrwan on the code.If someone have any idea about how to change the format of data to LPP, please help me.
Example: BLEHeartRateFreeRtos.In one case of command response we get TL_BLEEVT_CS_OPCODE , another one is TL_BLEEVT_CC_OPCODE. What is the difference?Can we get more than one packet of response in each case? (It looks like the code is written to handle this case)Why in TL_BLEEVT_CC_OPCODE only saves (memcopy) the last packet received ? while(local_cmd_status == HCI_TL_CmdBusy) { hci_cmd_resp_wait(HCI_TL_DEFAULT_TIMEOUT); /** * Process Cmd Event */ while(LST_is_empty(&HciCmdEventQueue) == FALSE) { LST_remove_head (&HciCmdEventQueue, (tListNode **)&pevtpacket); if(pevtpacket->evtserial.evt.evtcode == TL_BLEEVT_CS_OPCODE) { pcommand_status_event = (TL_CsEvt_t*)pevtpacket->evtserial.evt.payload; if(pcommand_status_event->cmdcode == opcode) { *(uint8_t *)(p_cmd->rparam) = pcommand_status_event->status; } if(pcommand_status_event->numcmd != 0) { local_cmd_status = HCI_TL_CmdAvailable; } } else // my comment: if( TL_
Hello Everyone,Newbie to STM32 here. I tried working with the STM32WB55 BLEmesh Lightning PRFN example for Nucleo board. I am facing troubles working with as listed below.STM BLE Mesh app hanging sometimes after provisioning and at different stages. While I try to debug I couldn't find the Node in the Mesh app. Bit of luck with the USB dongle but still some problems with the ON/ OFF server sometimes triggers call backs and sometimes not.I followed exactly as dm00600575 says step by step but still one or the other place I get stuck . Mostly with the call backs not triggering.Hence I would like to know if there are any settings I need to do in Mobile app or the examples to work with them or should I read any other manuals to get a better understanding of how the examples work. Appreciate any help provided. Thanks
We want to implement mesh networks without using ST BLE mesh android App.
Below is the event occurring upon connection, in this event there is the Connection_Handle, this is the number I believe is identifying this specific connection.Event upon connection:typedef PACKED(struct) { ... uint16_t Connection_Handle; // <<<<<THIS ... } hci_le_connection_complete_event_rp0;From my understanding, this number is being advertised to the master (prior the connection)My question is how can I read it where is it placed in the ADV data? Thanks
When I compile the BLE_OTA demo application and run it, it hard faults in APPE_Init when it configures the BLE processor to control flash activity using hardware semaphore SEM7:SHCI_C2_SetFlashActivityControl(FLASH_ACTIVITY_CONTROL_SEM7);Stepping through the code, I found that in "shci_send", it accesses "pCmdBuffer" and stores several variables. I found that the pCmdBuffer gets initialized in "appe_Tl_Init" that gets called from APPE_Init right at the end. By moving the SHCI_C2_SetFlashActivityControl call after this, the hard fault was eliminated. My final APPE_Init function is:void APPE_Init( void ) { /* Select which mechanism is used by CPU2 to protect its timing versus flash operation */ // SHCI_C2_SetFlashActivityControl(FLASH_ACTIVITY_CONTROL_SEM7); SystemPower_Config(); /**< Configure the system Power Mode */ HW_TS_Init(hw_ts_InitMode_Full, &hrtc); /**< Initialize the TimerServer */ APPD_Init( ); /** * The Standby mode should not be e
I am running the same firmware build on two different pieces of hardware that contain an STM32WB55CG. The firmware is configured to use a Fixed Pin for pairing and bonding. One works as expected and will create a bonded, authenticated, encrypted link but the other will not pair and bond. The one that works can be disconnected and power cycled. It works every time. I am not able to get the other one to work no matter what I try. There seems to be something simple that I am missing. Why would it work on one but not the other?
The LoRaWAN_AT_Master project from I-CUBE-LRWAN v2.0.0 does not work out-of-the-box - for necessary fixes, see:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000vP1XtSAK/icubelrwan-v200-with-nucleol073rz-board-and-inucleolrwan1-shieldThe reason for trying v2.0.0 was that v1.3.1 stopped working on TTN: initially, the Node joined and exchanged data OK but, after a while, it "dropped off" the network, and would not re-join - it would just continually repeat sending Join Requests. This was back in January this year - before TTN V2 was deprecated. The I-Nucleo-LRWAN1 was then set aside in favour of the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 - which had no such problem.Recently came back to the I-Nucleo-LRWAN1, and thought to see if I-CUBE-LRWAN v2.0.0 worked any better.Initially (after fixing the source code bugs) it did join the network, and exchange data:this shows 2 TeraTerm instances: the left-hand one is monitoring AT Commands sent by the Nucleo-L073RZ;the right-hand one is monitoring the responses from
Hello. I am trying to setup SPI1 on the STM32WB55 nucleo board. I have setup the nucleo board with the default peripheral configuration using STM32CUBEMX and I have enabled SPI1 Transmit Only Master mode: In my code, all I am trying to do is SPI1 transmit every 1 second and I use oscilosscope to probe SP1 clock pin ( supposed to be A2 pin on the header according to the stm32wb55 nucleo datasheet. My main.c and loop:```const uint8_t EEPROM_RDSR = 0b00000101;/* USER CODE END 0 *//** * @brief The application entry point. * @retval int */int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* U

Hello, I have a wearable design which consists of 2x STM32 MCUs (One STM32WB and a STM32L010K8). They are connected via I2C and I need to be able to reprogram the STM32L010K8 using the STM32WB via the I2C port. However, there's mixed information related to the capability of the ROM bootloader to communicate via I2C. The first page of the STM32L010K8 datasheet says that the pre-programmed bootloader supports SPI and UART. Then on page 18 (Boot modes) it states that I2C on pins PB6 and PB7 can be used to reprogram the flash memory.Which one is correct? Can anyone here confirm if the STM32L010K8 can be reprogrammed via I2C using the ROM bootloader?Cheers,Daniel
Hi. I've read several bits of info on the RF stack installation, but can't figure it out. Here's a previous thread on the topic:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000DKLKkSAP/how-do-i-flashburn-the-ble-stack-coprocessor-binary-for-my-stm32wb55ce-custom-boardI have STM32Cube programmer open, with the `Erasing and Progamming` tab selected. I have 3 binaries, downloaded from here: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/tree/master/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/STM32WB5x. `FUS_fw.bin`, `FUS_fw_for_fus_0_5_3.bin`, and `BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin`. Presumably I install FUS for 0_5_3, then FUS, then BLE stack. How do I know what Start Address to use in Cube Programmer? The link above suggests it's in the Release Notes doc, but I don't see it there. There's also a reference to Table 5 in ANSI5185, but I don't see it there; that document is a changelog.Question #1: Is my procedure correct, of flashing those 3 binaries in sequence from `Erasing and Progamming` in STM32Cu
Hi,I'm using STM32CubeIDe (Version: 1.6.1) to develop application for STM32WB5M; I need to enable the Inter Processor Communication Controller (IPCC) but I don't find the relative section under the section 'System Core', please see the following attachment:How can I resolve this issue?Regards,Giampietro Pomponio
I’am working with the stm32wl55 device, now I’am looking how can I update my firmware. I’d like to use dfu bootloader but after reading AN2606 note only USART and SPI bootloader mode are available for stm32wl55, so dfu isn’t available ? And I’am also looking for ota update, the same I didn’t find any useful informations just FUOTA but for stm32wb.
I'm using NUCLEO_L073RZ with LRWAN NS1 which included in P-NUCLEO LRWAN 3.I tried to communicate two end devices with SubGhz_Phy project in STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V2.0.0, but it doesn't work.It seems to using SPI, but MOSI(PA7) and MISO(PA6) is connected with LIS3MDL and NSS(PB6) and CLK(PA5) is not connected to anywhere.Am I using wrong project, or missed somthing?Sorry for my English.
I believe that CUBEMX does not automatically generate the hw_uart.c file when trying to use the STM32_WPAN peripheral. I was following along with this tutorial and wished to use debug trace however it elicited the error undefined reference to `HW_UART_Transmit_DMA' as no implementation for the function existed. In the example projects for the STM32WB available here, the hw_uart.c file is included.
I am trying to use the internal voltage reference on the STM32WL MCU. When I enable the VREBUFF, it always times out and the VREFBUF->VRR bit is not ready. On other STM32 MCU family, I read that it is required to enable the clock for SYSCFG and VREFBUFF. But I cannot find the relevant clock for either SYSCFG or VREFBUFF in the STM32WL registers. APB1ENR and APB2ENR do not have a clock enable pin for neither.Below is the ADC init function I am using. On the hardware level, VREF+ is connected to VCC in my design. Would that cause a problem ? I read in the user manual section 18.2 that when VREFBUF is enabled, VREF+ pin is connected to VREFBUF. Since in my design VREF+ is connected to VCC, would that cause the problem ? hadc.Instance = ADC; hadc.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; hadc.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; hadc.Init.LowPowe
i'am wondering to mesure current consumption of a house using B-LO72Z-LRWAN1 and then send this data via LORA. I'am not finding any information about this.could you please answer
Hi, i m working with P-NUCLEO LRWAN2 , the gateway is working good, but the L073RZ with the expansion do not work with tera term and don't send any data
Hi All,I have recently purchased the ST-LRWAN2 package.I have successfully setup the LoRaWAN Gateway. But I am not able to setup the Node device NUCLEO-L073RZ. I am using STMCubeIDE. The software package I am using is i-cube-lrwan.I am not able to see any output on the Serial monitorI have attached the images for more details. If anyone has successfully setup the device, please advice on this. Thanks and Regards,Rahul
STM32WB as BLE Client implementation. I have been going through different resources but not able to implement BLE Client. Can I get some simplified resource or a video link ?I have my own target board based on STM32WB50CGU5.
To start advertising connection, I runAPPE_Init();adv();To stop advertising the connection, I runaci_set_non_discoverable(connection_handle, reason);aci_gap_terminate();However the latter functions do not successfully cease advertising, I was wondering where I am going wrong.
