Hello there. I am using stm32WL55CC with STSAFE-A110 secure element. But I could not find any resource for the user STSAFE-A110 with LoRaWAN. I consider that The LoRaWAN keys (NwkSKey, AppSKey, AppKey ) are generated by STSAFE-A110. Is there any reference code or user manual available to use the STSAFE-A110 with LoRaWAN?
I am using my stm32wb55 as Central. (similar to phone app)After connection I am having trouble changing the authentication method.Using: aci_gap_set_authentication_requirementI am allowed up to 8 connections on Central, must they all have the same authentication method for pairing?Cheers!
When a gpio detects an external event (triggered by the falling edge), the server sends a 15 byte notification. I use stm32wb55rgv6 to collect ADS1299 (ADC) data. The sampling rate is 1K (that is, 1000 falling edge triggers). The server should send 1000 15 byte notifications per second, but in fact, I can only receive 180 15 byte notifications. Under the same peripheral configuration, I will store the collected data to the SD card. There is no error in the data. However, when I use Bluetooth, the data will be missing a lot.
What are the reasons that affect the speed of BLE server notification? I've been testing for a day and I found that I'm sending a notification of 15 bytes every 5ms and I don't know how to change it.My requirement is to send a notification of 15 bytes in 1ms,I don't know how to implement it。
The following figure is the load and corresponding interval of my single notification:I think the interval is too long.I read AN5289 7.6.5 how to maximize data throughput, but I can't find the macro parameters Min_CE_Length and Max_CE_Lengtht, and I don't know where to insert these functions into the program.
HelloI developed prototype of wearable device using STM32WBMMG, and planning to acquire FCC certification.STM32WB5MMG already has FCC ID; YCP-STM32WB5M001; however, it is the certification of the chip itself.When mounted any kind of devices(PCBs etc.), another FCC certification for device is required.At this point, for device certification, the Bluetooth antenna should be able to connect or disconnect.However, STM32WB5MMG is integrated with MCU and Bluetooth module with antena.Is there a way to connect or disconnect only the antenna?Thanks.
HI i have ULS24 light sensor with SPI communication protocol which i want to connect to stm32wb55rg board and use it BLE support to connect PC host. PC application will pair these devices and i will get access to control light sensor. please suggest examples or how to setup this configuration in cubemx
Just trying to figure out the max size I can pass to the write function.According to AN5289 :Write long distant value aci_gatt_write_long_char_value(conn_handle, RxCharHandle,offset, chunk_size, (&payload)+offset) Max data write length is 243 bytes.Is it correct or can I pass larger values?
Hello,I use a stm32WB15 MCU in shutdown mode with a wake up by the wake up pin PA0 (System wake-up 1).Everything works fine with the polarity "High". I use the HAL function "HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1_HIGH)".But with the polarity "Low" and the function "HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1_LOW)" the MCU wakes up regardless of the logic level on the input pin (as if both Edges were selected !).I checked the WP1 bit in PWR_CR4 and is setting is correct (0 for high level detection and 1 for low level).I set the level on the input pin wiht a generator and I verify with a oscilloscope for debugging so it is not a hardware problem...Thanks for your answer.Best regards,Joel

HelloI am developing a FW that alternately runs BLE and Mac using stm32wb5x_BLE_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin 1.13.3.0(3) for protocol stack.For FW, BLE and Mac are alternately switched over time (every second).The initialization of BLE, the initialization and switching method of Mac are referred to the sample.Here is a problem.When there was no radio wave of the Mac protocol, it worked for one day, but it stopped in a few hours when the radio waves of the Mac protocol were out.The radio waves of the Mac protocol are at several 10ms intervals.When I looked it up, I had been waiting for a CPU2 response with UTIL_SEQ_WaitEvt() after execution of MAC_MLMESetReq(), MAC_MLMEStartReq(), MAC_MLMEResetReq() executed when initializing or stopping the Mac protocol.The time to stop the FW is not constant, so when some conditions are met, I think that something occurs in the protocol stack and this is the case.It is best not to have such a phenomenon, is there a way to receive the Mac protocol again?Is ther
Hi, I am trying to understand the startup process of stm32 mcu. So I have a good knowledge with STM32 and HAL but I want to learn a little deeper with the registers.So I created a blank project and included only the peripheral header file (stm32wb55xx.h), (system_stm32wbxx.c), the startup script (startup_stm32wb55xx_cm4.s) and main.c where I implemented a blinky and it is working. Where I set the RCC->AHB2ENR(enable clock) register, but I m not sure it's frequency and the frequency's from SYSCLK, HCLK,AHB,APB1...As far as i understand the startup script is calling the SystemInit() function from system_stm32wbxx.c where the clocks are set to default values and after that the main function is called, where the clock configuration can be changed?Please correct me if I m wrong! And if someone have some links or documentation for properly setting the clocks.Thanks
Hi,I have been trying to use the HSE_DIV32 clock as input for the RTC but without success.I cannot find any example where this is done even though it's available in the datasheet and the register map.I have been doing this after enabling the HSE clock to 32MHz:void RTC_Init(void) { RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime = {0}; RTC_DateTypeDef sDate = {0}; hrtc.Instance = RTC; hrtc.Init.HourFormat = RTC_HOURFORMAT_24; hrtc.Init.AsynchPrediv = 124; hrtc.Init.SynchPrediv = 7999; hrtc.Init.OutPut = RTC_OUTPUT_DISABLE; hrtc.Init.OutPutPolarity = RTC_OUTPUT_POLARITY_HIGH; hrtc.Init.OutPutType = RTC_OUTPUT_TYPE_OPENDRAIN; hrtc.Init.OutPutRemap = RTC_OUTPUT_REMAP_NONE; if (HAL_RTC_Init(&hrtc) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_RTCEx_BKUPRead(&hrtc, RTC_BKP_DR0) != 0x32F2) { sTime.Hours = 0x6; sTime.Minutes = 0xa; sTime.Seconds = 0x0; sTime.SubSeconds = 0x0; sTime.DayLightSaving = RTC_DAYLIGHTSAVING_NONE; sTime.StoreOperation = RTC_STOREOPERATION_RESET; if (HAL_RTC_SetTi
Hello, I'm using the the official example of CubeMX P2P_server and I want to enter stop2 mode during advertising to minimize the current consumption like this: void SCH_Idle(void) { LL_C2_PWR_SetPowerMode(LL_PWR_MODE_STOP2); HAL_PWREx_EnableBLEActivityIT(); HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); return; }However, I have noticed that the processor doesn't enter the stop2 mode and current consumption for the processor only is about 1.25 mA which is High compared with the datasheet values!
Needs more support from Sequencer scheduler which is used in Stm32wb55xx Evaluation boards. How to use effectively and is there any online seminars or any other documentation , it will be helpful to us.
Hello,I am trying to use PWM using DMA in the P-NUCLEO WB55 dongle but the PWM signal was not behaving according to the setting which was done in STM32Cube MX.Can anyone help me to understand the role of Auto Reload Register, Repetition counter, and PWM Generation channel pulse? Basically, I want to generate 24 pulses with different pulse widths but when I am trying to generate 24 pulses I am always getting 3 extra pulses.Code -for (int i=23; i>=0; i--) { if (color&(1<<i)) { pwmData[i] = 66; } else pwmData[i] = 33; } HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_DMA(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_1, (uint32_t *)pwmData, 24);So my question is why I am always getting 3 extra pulses every time. The parameters that are defined in cube Mx are given below-System Clock - 64 MHzTImer counter Prescaler- 0Counter period- 100-1Repetition counter- 24Firmware version - STM32Cube FW_WB V1.14.0I have also tried to find some documents on the PWM but I am not able to find any relevant document, Please he
I want to use a STM32WB55CG with a 12-bit ACD to collect sensor data from ADS1292R (24-bit ECG sensor) and MAX86150 (19-bit PPG sensor). Short question: Is this possible? If so: Any suggestions on how to do so? Do need some external component?
The readme.txt in the STM32WB Middleware WPAN folder mentions that it is possible to get the clusters library sources. How can this be managed?
I have an application taht works fine when I power the board from USB ST-Link, but it does not work when powered by battery. LD7 lights up, but no other LEDs. My app turns some on immediately.When powerded by USB I get LD5 Red, LD7 Red and two user lightsLD3, LD4 on after a second or two (my app).The batteries are new Duracell AAA and give 4.6V to the boardIs there a jumper setting to switch to pure battery power? I have tried this on 3 boards MB1296 D-03 series 210800*** and 211200***It looks like part of the board may not be getting power.It also does not appear to try to join LoRa.My jumpers are factory default JP9 1-2 JP10 2-3 JP5 off
We have project that requests the distance range up to 200 meter between a wireless device and a wireless router. We wonder if STM32WB could meet the need?ThanksDavid
