Some of our devices stopped working properly. We can see an advertisement, however the advertisement does not contain a device name. Furthermore, it is not possible to connect to the device. The interesting part is, that the device seems to be broken permanently. No matter which firmware is flashed, the device does not recover. Even the ST provided examples do not work. However, other devices which are not "broken" work fine even though the same firmware is flashed (which does not work on the "broken" device).We made sure that all firmware files are the same on the devices (user FW, FUS, BLE stack). However, still there are devices which work with this firmware setup and devices which do not work. We tried with BLE Stack v1.13.3 and v1.15.0.My question to you is the following: Do you know of occurrences where a user firmware change on CPU1 broke the BLE module? Do you have any suggestions how we might fix this issue? Best regards and thank you, Levin Messing
If server1 is connected to the client and when I try to connect with server2, will server1 still be connected?because once 2 servers are connected I am not able to GATT Write attribute to an individual server.I am able to write only newly connected server only.I am using "aci_gatt_write_without_resp" to write even if I change Connection_Handle parameter also I am not able to write to server1. Thank You.
I want to get data from Bluetooth module to main MCU via Rx Tx (Like HC-05 communication with Arduino). if you have any answer to communicate with STM32WB5MMG Bluetooth module without any firmware development or if you have any example code to upload to STM32WB5MMG and get data from it as serial please let me know.
I have been trying to have the STM32WB55 save the OpenThread network information after joining the network, so that it can automatically join it upon power cycle. After joining the network through the commissioning process, I call SHCI_C2_FLASH_StoreData(THREAD_IP), but it doesn't seem to save the information in flash memory. I show the code snippet that calls the function in the Joiner handler below:static void APP_THREAD_JoinerHandler(otError OtError, void *pContext) { if (OtError == OT_ERROR_NONE) { SHCI_C2_FLASH_StoreData(THREAD_IP); OtError = otThreadSetEnabled(NULL, true); if (OtError != OT_ERROR_NONE) { APP_THREAD_Error(ERR_THREAD_START, OtError); } APP_DBG("JOIN SUCCESS!"); } else APP_THREAD_Error(ERR_THREAD_JOINER_CB, OtError); }
Is there any way to erase 32bytes in flash?
I am trying to use the following well written example to have two boards communicate using GFSK:sub-GHz FWMy code compiles error free up to the Example Application section. If I then replace my main with the GFSK main on github. I get the following error. I have verified that the project properties in the compiler section for the include paths are correct. When I double click on the error I go to it in radio_driver.c, hitting F3 jumps me to the #define in radio_conf.h. I then place cursor her on the line over UTIL_MEM_set_8 and hit F3 but I jump to nowhere. The interesting thing is at the top of this file is #include stm32_mem.h and if I hover on it and hit F3 and go into it the declaration exists AND the stm32_mem.c contains the function definition just fine.Can anyone tell me what I might be missing here??Thank you
Hi, on P-NUCLEO-WB55 board, the VREF+ pin is connected to VDDA which is the analog power supply. See the picture.My understanding is that this pin is an output when the internal VREF (2.048V or 2.50V) is used. Does this connection mean the use of internal VREF is disabled or the pin/device might be damaged due to contention? Thanks. -wq
Hi I'm looking for a wifi opencpu soc with 2*UART and I2C with SD card support.Can you Please sugggest me an IC

Which Cluster may use to send and receive data or string between Router and Coord?And how do I coding for that.Thank you.
The given example on LoRaWAN_End_Node software pack is transmit temperature, humidity, and pressure data. My main objective is to do the same thing but instead of send those three datas, I want to send the parsed GNSS data like how the SimOsGetPos did.My attemptI've replaces the SendTxData functinon with my own approach to replicate how SimOsGetPos works. Called both CUSTOM_GNSS_Init and GNSS_PARSER_Init and then set up a loop that will stop once the received data is valid.ResultThe program only done one data parsing and then it just stops (image attached).QuestionsWhy did my program stops after the first iteration and how do I fix that?I've attached my main.c and lora_app.c. I also attached the app_gnss.c that I used as reference to modify my lora_app.c file.Thank you.
Hello thereI am completely new in STM32, I need to use two SX1262MB2CAS shield to tx with one of them and rx from the other one.Do you know which drivers i will need and how to configure the stm32cubeide project to have acces to two stm32?
Hello, I tested the VL53L4CD with the Nucleo-STM32F401 using the ST-Example and I got Ranging readings. However, when I port the code to use the STM32WL55JC, I always get an I/O Error.I use the same pin configurations to drive the sensor as in the Example(STM32F4) but with no luck.The I2C is working but the Ranging is not, I noticed that CubeMX doesn't activate the NVIC interrupt-line for the GPIO1(The Sensor-interrupt-pin) and I can't enable it. I have 2 Questions:1- Are there any special configurations related to the STM32WL55JC when dealing with the GPIOs that I should take care of?2- How I can enable the EXTI-Lines for the interrupt pins that I'm using?Thank youAmir
Before this I'm launching my modified version of LoRaWAN_End_Node firmware, but my Nucleo Board keeps restarting and heating up so I unplugged the USB cable. When I tried to connect my board back I get a FAILS.txt file with the following contentThe interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCUI tried to connect my MCU to the STM32Cube Programmer with under reset configuration and trying all reset mode configuration but got no luck.Other things that I've tried:Disconnect JP1Connecting while pushing the reset buttonDoing point 1 and 2 at the same timeAnd still got no luck.Update:Connecting the JP1 jumper back and the heating issue is back (the MCU isn't dead, I guess(?))
Hey,I try to change the device name for my broadcast inside the initialization of the Ble_Hci_Gap_Gatt_Init() funtion. My implementation is the following:static void Ble_Hci_Gap_Gatt_Init(void){ uint8_t index; uint16_t gap_service_handle, gap_dev_name_char_handle, gap_appearance_char_handle; const uint8_t *bd_addr; uint16_t appearance[1] = { BLE_CFG_GAP_APPEARANCE }; /** * Initialize HCI layer */ /*HCI Reset to synchronise BLE Stack*/ hci_reset(); /** * Write the BD Address */ bd_addr = BleGetBdAddress(); aci_hal_write_config_data(CONFIG_DATA_PUBADDR_OFFSET, CONFIG_DATA_PUBADDR_LEN, (uint8_t*) bd_addr ); /** * Set TX Power to 0dBm. */ aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(1, CFG_TX_POWER); /** * Initialize GATT interface */ aci_gatt_init(); /** * Initialize GAP interface */ const char *name = "STM32WB"; aci_gap_init(GAP_PERIPHERAL_ROLE, 0, APPBLE_GAP_DEVICE_NAME_LENGTH, &gap_service_handle, &gap_dev_
We have a product that uses the STM32WB55RGV6 controller. Some of the boards start up without issue, some of them occasionally fail with the STM32WB55RGV6 processor not starting up, and others never start. We don't know if it is a grounding issue with the processor or perhaps the layout/capacitance of the external crystal, or another reason. There is a full ground plane on an inner layer, but I wonder if the ground plane under the processor should have more vias. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bernie
Im using the Thread_Coap_Generic Example for the STM32WB5MM-DK (CUBEWB version 1.15.0). THe CPU2 Binary is as it is descibed in the readme.txt "stm32wb5x_Thread_FTD_fw.bin". I want to change the logging level of the Openthread. The Change of OPENTHREAD_CONFIG_LOG_LEVEL OT_LOG_LEVEL_WARNin openthread_api_config_ftd.h has no effect at all. If im using the function 'otLoggingSetLevel()' in runtime it does not give an error, but does not change the log level as well. It is hardcoded to Log level Info or what am i doing wrong?The AN5289 does also not really help, it describes a function 'otSetDynamicLogLevel()' that does not exist.
thanks. -wq
I had my NUCLEO-WB15CC running stack full v1.15 and today I decided to upgrade it to v1.16 and got "Warning: FUS_STATE_ERR_UNKNOWN". And now I have no stack and I'm unable to install it.And I can't even start FUS, when I try, I get those errors:Error: FUS_STATE_ERR_UNKNOWN: Unknown error Start FUS failed !Error: Start FUS Operation Failure! Please, try againMy problem is very similar to this, but I have latest FUS. IPCCDBA is 0x00, SBRV is 0x8400 and SFSA 0x31
Good afternoon everybody,I would like to determine acceleration values (in micro g's) by means of the EVAL-ADXL1002Z (analog single-axis accelerometer) evaluation board and the NUCLEO- WL55JC1 development board. Once this is done, I would like to transmit this data to TTN (The Things Network) network server. I should mention that I already have my own LoRaWAN network working correctly after following the LoRaWAN_End_Node example.I would really appreciate any help or example given to carry out these two tasks.Thank you for your time,Carlos
Ideally using something like the HCI_RESET command is preferable for our application rather than simply cycling power or resetting the system. Is there some procedure for recycling the M0 processor in the stm32wb while leaving the application processor running? I'm not finding any informatio on what to do after issuing HCI_RESET to try to get the BLE radio back up.Thank you.
Hello, I have been trying to send and receive data through UART using DMA on STM3WB55. Everything was working properly but suddenly HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA started to work unproperly: the program gets stuck in the Hard Fault function. I am calling HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA inside the function HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback. When I call it in the while loop in the main.c file, the program works good. My buffers are 71 and 273 long. Later I tried HAL_UART_Transmit and HAL_UART_Transmit_IT inside HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback but none of them works anymore. When I comment this line, the program works good.I attached the main.c , stm32wbxx_it.c and usart.c files.Here is the call stack untill it falls into the hard fault function:What I want to do is to send data after the reception is complete. The reception through HAL_UART_Receive_DMA seems to be correct. Just the transmit. Any clue? Thank you.
Currently I am using the firmware LocalNetwork_Concentrator and LocalNetwork_Sensor. The maximum Sensor nodes are 14. I wish to connect around 200 LocalNetwork_sensor. Kindly help me to make the required changes in the software.
