I want to use MAC 802_15_4 with other peripherals like SPI2, I2C1 and USB as a CDC device but there is no option in cubemx to generate code for MAC 802_15_4 and i didn't find any application notes to write program for MAC 802_15_4 only i found 2 sample code in Application folder of STM32CubeWb and when i am trying to relocate that sample code to another folder compiler throwing error even i have changed include path and added necessary files and folder in local path. Thanks in advance.
Hi,I am working with a STM32WB55 MCU connected using a STLINK probe (SWD).In the flashing flow, I use STM32_Programmer_CLI to erase the device, put it in FUS mode, update the FUS, update the BLE stack image, and then flash the app image. One thing I realized was that after those steps, I couldn't start the app image without powering off and on the device. No reset, hardrst, core_rst nor anything I could find in the STM32_Programmer_CLI --helpcommand allowed me to launch my app.Is there any way to launch the app without having to manually power-off and on the board? Is it quite annoying to have this extra step in the flow!Kind regards,A.P.
Hi,I am evaluating 2 MCUs (STM32WL54CCU6 and STM32WLE5CBU6) for our new design. I would like to get the receiver sensitivity at the following condition: 2-(G)FSK, BER <1%, 200kbps, 50kHz FDA at 915 MHz, which datasheet don't have. When you have a chance, could you please provide the data at that test condition? Many thanks.
HiWe develop a project on the STM32WB5MMG MCU. We have 2 issues:1. How can we get the actual MTU after the negotiation with the remote client (probably a smartphone) ? We want to support all kind of smartphones including those with small MTU. Do we have to be worried about this issue in case of transmitting too large packets to the client or would the packet be divided into sub-packets automatically ?2. When working with the debugger on both EVB (STM32WB5MMG-DK) and our board is ok, both after disconnecting power and connecting it again, we don't get advertise again. Have someone now what cause this ?Thanks
During testing to see what happens if power is interrupted during various parts of firmware update, I removed power from my test board while updating FUS. Now, when I connect via SWD using STM32CubeProgrammer, it shows the following: When I try to update FUS in this state (writing FUS v1.2.0 to 0x080EC000), I get an error, "FUS_STATE_ERR_UNKNOWN".Is it possible to recover from this state?
I have a burst sampling MCU application that wakes up via interrupt, samples, and should now signal a backend through LoRaWANThe CubeMX skeleton spins up a whole system with sequencer, power mode management etc, which is - did I get this right? - built to wake up periodically on a duty cycle interval.I assume this is probably giving you the best efficiency you can have, but is a bit overwhelming for me in comparison to Arduino-like LoRaWAN stacks which expose simple interfaces like Join, Send and a callback for Rx.I am wondering what would be the most pragmatic way to get my application going without digging too deep in the middleware internals? These are the options I was thinking of:Switch to FreeRTOS, where examples suggest easier task combination. Unsure if Low Power Mode management will interfereUse dual-core STM32WL55x, running AT slave skeleton on the second core for a simple interface. Downside: I planned to target a Seeed E5-mini, which has a STM32WLE5x.Find a simple option f
I am confused because I thought I have read somewhere that on the STM32WL55JC, only the M0+ Core is connected to the RF part and therefore M4 core normally hosts app code, M0+ core the RF part.In the examples I have seen for the Nucleo WL55JC there are mono-core are well as dual-core implementations. So, is the SUBGHZ just a peripherial just any other and its up to me on which core I use it and furthermore, single-core code written for a STM32WL55 would also work and behave similar on a single-core STM32WLE5?
On a custom board, the RED_LED is connected to PA15, which is pulled-up by default (JTDI).The pin has been set to Push-Pull Output GPIO in CubeMX and is initialized to 0.The STM32WB55CGUx was experiencing random resets, until this particular IO was set to 1, line 34 in the code below. Now the code runs fine and is stable.int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ //SysTick_Config(32000/0); /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); MX_TIM1_Init(); MX_TIM2_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_RF_Init(); MX_RTC
Attached is the IOC setup for simple continuous PWM Mode from LPTIM1 from STM32BW55 (all Cube IDE/MX updated with the library, etc).. RB2 showing the waveform as per Peroid and Pulse width (from 64MHz clock input) but I get no interrupt (enabled by IOC setting). I have looked thro the documents and could not find something useful. Have I missed something?
HiI need to know that how can i create thousand amount of binary or hex file for different keys during mass production. I use custom firmaware, sdk v.1.0 for development and i wrote manually keys of each device.
Hi, I need some help trying to undestand this operation in Lorawan_end_node example projectnvm_size = ( ( sizeof( LoRaMacNvmData_t ) + 7 ) & ~0x07 ); in the code below:Maybe it is so simple, but i thought that it would be something like that nvm_size = sizeof( LoRaMacNvmData_t );Thanks in advanceLmHandlerErrorStatus_t LmHandlerNvmDataStore( void ) { #if (defined( CONTEXT_MANAGEMENT_ENABLED ) && ( CONTEXT_MANAGEMENT_ENABLED == 1 )) LoRaMacNvmData_t *nvm; uint32_t nvm_size; LmHandlerErrorStatus_t lmhStatus = LORAMAC_HANDLER_SUCCESS; int32_t status = NVM_DATA_OK; lmhStatus = LmHandlerHalt(); if( lmhStatus == LORAMAC_HANDLER_SUCCESS ) { status = NvmDataMgmtStoreBegin(); if( status == NVM_DATA_NO_UPDATED_DATA ) { lmhStatus = LORAMAC_HANDLER_NVM_DATA_UP_TO_DATE; } else if( ( status != NVM_DATA_OK ) || ( LmHandlerCallbacks->OnStoreContextRequest == NULL ) ) { lmhStatus = LORAMAC_HANDLER_ERROR; } else { MibRequestConfirm_t mibReq; mibReq.
Hello everyone:I created a thread udp project through the official Max 6.7 version of the IDE and applied it to two Nucleo -STM32WB55 development boards for thread data transmission.(One as FTD equipment, one as MTD equipment)I want to let the MTD device enter the low power consumption mode when the device is idle. I try to set the low power consumption setting under MAX IDE. After setting the above functions, the measured current consumption on the MTD device has not dropped below 1uA. How can I adjust it to achieve the Shutdown low power mode consumption effect on the file?In addition, how to wake up the device through PC13?
Hey!!I have a BLE application which runs on custom server profile. There are few characteristics of a given service, where the client can modify them. I need clarifications for the below questions. Is there any event generated by the BLE stack to know whether the client device has started a request for the connection with the server.? Also want to know whether there is any API to use to get this info.?Is there any event generated by the service/characteristic if the attribute value is modified from client device? Thanks,Akash
Hello ST,I am using STM32WB Necleo Board to test USB as VCP. my reference project is BLE_MeshLightingLPN (USB Dongle) project and same way i am implementing all libraries and modification in BLE_MeshProvsion... CFG_USB_INTERFACE_ENABLE 1A new VCP port appeared in Device manager with errorDid i missed anything or it need more modification to use USB as output trace....Best RegardsDeepak
Looking at the website it cost a lot of money , approx $5k .https://www.bluetooth.com/develop-with-bluetooth/qualification-listing/qualification-listing-fees/Scott
I am using an STM32WB30 MCU and am using a modified version of the BLE P2P example where my device is a client connecting to a BLE server that is always advertising. My device goes into a scanning procedure when a button is pressed, connects to the BLE server, discovers its services and characteristics, and subscribes to the desired characteristics. After successfully calling the below function when a button is pressed, the system goes into the scanning procedure. aci_gap_start_general_discovery_proc(0x4000, 0x4000, PUBLIC_ADDR, 0);Then, in the SVCCTL_App_Notification callback function, the ACI_GAP_PROC_COMPLETE_VSEVT_CODE case is executed within ~10 seconds once the scanning procedure is complete. As shown in the P2P example, if devices are discovered, the HCI_LE_META_EVT_CODE case within the SVCCTL_App_Notification callback is executed which then has several other sub-cases within it, including AD_TYPE_COMPLETE_LOCAL_NAME which I use to do a strncmp to find my BLE server by name. I am trying to incorporate the X-Cube-EEPROM package into an existing STM32WB55 Nucleo design that I have. In the process one of the compile errors refers to an RCC bit:'RCC_CR_HSEBYP' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'RCC_BDCR_LSEBYP'?Your stm32wbxx.h file within the CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32WBxx/Include folder calls out the RCC_CR_HSEBYP as bit 18.This bit doesn't even exist in the manual....What kind of code is this???This is VERY subpar.

Hello,Currently I am working on a End Of Line firmware file that runs in RAM that need to be able to test that the antenna in functioning as expected. In other project with BLE we used aci_hal_tone_start() for this is there a similar function for the ZigBee stack. We are using stack version 1.15.0 stm32wb5x_Zigbee_FFD_fw.bin on a STM32WB50We would like to not have to change the stack because that would require flashing the stack again after flashing. With kind regards,Nick Assink
I am looking for a suitable software package for the use of the SX1261MB2xAS shield with a NUCLEO platform.I already worked on a similar project some years ago and I am sure that I found and used an example for using this board in STM32CubeMX or STM32CubeIDE.Now I can only find the I-CUBE-LRWAN package which is suitable for another hardware platform.
I was able to program two Nucleo-WBA52CG using STM32CubeIDE and the on board ST-Link. I programmed them with the BLE_HeartRateThreadX example application. When I power them I can see the BLE_HeartRateThreadX BLE traffic on my phone. However, I can not reprogram them again using the same setup. I suspect the problem is simple but I really have no idea what is wrong. Any help is appreciated. I get the error below when I try to program them. ------ Switching to STM32CubeProgrammer ----- [36m[01m ------------------------------------------------------------------- [39;49m[36m[01m STM32CubeProgrammer v2.13.0 [39;49m[36m[01m ------------------------------------------------------------------- &n
Here is what I try to do:Imported SubGHz_Phy_PingPong to my workspace.Double click on IOC to launch CubeMX and do simple HW change, in my case enabling EXTIO interruptsAfter code generation there are many compilation errorsCan be reproduced with other examples too.Errors are related to multiple definitions of many functions. I have noticed that additional lines were automatically added to makefile (-include Application/User/*) which probably causes this issue. Please suggest workaround.
Hello All...I have downloaded the X-Cube-EEPROM as I would like to create persistent variables. I have an existing project using Nucleo-WB55. Can someone help defining what files/folders to import from X-Cube-EEPROM into my project and what the file structure will look like when done? Initial try was to import en.x-cube-eeprom-v5-0-0\X-CUBE-EEPROM v5.0.0\Middlewares\ST\EEPROM_Emul but this proved to not compile due to a whole bunch of missing files/links. I didn't want to import at a higher level as it seemed to bring in all the CMSIS stuff, etc. which I already have in my existing code. Please don't refer me to AN4894 as this has nothing to do with respect to integrating files into an existing project. At this point I just need to be able to bring in the necessary files into my current project and successfully build. There seems to be NO information at all out in the ether with respect to this and I am quite surprised as it is very common to have a few variables that infrequently need
