Hello,How can I simply implement a timer with TouchGFX ?I haven't found any class to do so… Have I missed it ?Thanks.
I don't really understand how to use drawString. The text explaining the function is not very clear in my opinion. And most importantly, it wont draw the string I want it to draw. I'm probably doing something wrong, but I don't know what.
After I installed Atollic True Studio I have tried to load the demonstration example program that is coming with Discovery F469I board. After I struggle with the build of the program, I discover that I have to mode in the root directory of the content of the cubef4 package and even so some time it doesn't index all the files when I am converting from SW4STM32. After I am managing to build the program, that is taking a looong time to do this, even with parallel build and trying a fee times to enter in debug mode, the graphical images are distorted and blurry. The touch screen it does respond and the application in the back it seems to work. Does somebody have any idea what is happening ?
Hi Guys, I've searched the ST website on info for setting up the LCD RGB 24bit controller and can't seem to find any info. The reference manual has a little info but doesn't show pin connections etc. Is there a webpage dedicated to the LCD Controller? Thanks Guys, Peter.
Hello,Is there actually a integration in uVision5(pro)? I found old answers, but there is no Keil Project File in the generated Folder...Thanks,Christoph
Hi,i would like to rotate the text of a flex button from within the designer.Did i miss something? Will you add the rotation option like on the button with label?
The header for this function is very cryptic - what, for example, is 'ParametersTable'.All I want to do is check that my display if present by reading the ID codes (its a ILI9806E) but I get a timeout error on the read even though the page select write succeeds.A worked example would provide me (and I'm sure many others) with the documentation required to use this capability.
Hi, I'm having a doubt related to HSYNC, VSYNC and Porch Calculations. I'm working with STM32F746G Disco Board and wanted to understand how these values are calculated. The HSYNC, VSYNC, HBP, HFP, VBP, VFP values mentioned in data sheet (https://cache.nxp.com/docs/en/supporting-information/RK043FN02H-CT.pdf) and the driver file (rk043fn48h.h) in examples provided by ST are totally different. Could anyone explain about this. Thanks
Hi everyone,I'm using OV5640 and it supports the JPEG format. The camera is set 640x480.I'm confused the DCMI module. After started camera, get line callback and first two bytes are 0xFFD8 as expected. However, it never get the 0xFFD8 one again. It should get 0xFFD8 again after 480 lines because it will get new image, shouldn't it? Am I wrong? Please help me?
Hi, I have been trying to have my screen change from my own code. Right now, I tried from another thread to do the following:I have two screens that I currently alternate every 15 seconds. FrontendApplication* App; App = static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance()); uint8_t Screen = 1; while(1) { osDelay(15000); if(Screen == 0) { App->gotoStatus1ScreenNoTransition(); Screen = 1; } else { App->gotoStatus2ScreenNoTransition(); Screen = 0; } }My program starts with the Status1 screen displayed. When my call to gotoStatus2ScreenNoTransition gets executed, the screen rarely gets refreshed. When it does, it gets refreshed after 10-12 seconds only. Most of the time it does not refresh at all during the 15 seconds delay. I only get a frozen Screen1 (Screen1 has information that scrolls and changes). But as soon as the call to gotoStatus1ScreenNoTransition is executed, the screen is refreshed properly .I know it is a hard to understand without the fu
I used STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.14.0 to create a project that will use the STemWin library for its touch-screen GUI. The STM32Cube distribution includes a Microsoft Visual Studio project and binary files for a Windows-based simulator in which I'm supposed to be able to test the GUI components, but the project configuration is not compatible with Visual Studio 2017. I have a similar project up and running using project files and libs for emWin that I got directly from SEGGER, but I would prefer to use the STemWin version if I can make it work. After allowing Visual Studio to upgrade the project, (`Configuration 'Debug|Win32': changing Platform Toolset to 'v141' (was 'v110')`), it tells me that `'/ZI' and '/Gy-' command-line options are incompatible`.After I change either of those command line options, and then after I rename .../STemWin_WIN32.lib to be .../STemWin540_WIN32.lib, that just leads to a cascade of linker errors. Not sure what to try next.
Hi all,I'm working on an application, and I want to have a button with an image and a background. Lucky for me, there already is such a widget! The ButtonWithIcon class is a derivative of the Button. I also want my button to have a label. So now I'm writing a derivative of ButtonWithIcon with a TextArea widget added. However, this text area is not being drawn.I have tried everything. II have tried to make my derivative class a friend of container, because the button is a widget, and I cannot add children. But the ButtonWithIcon has both an icon and a background image, so these should be children, right? I have tried to draw the rect of the text area, like this:in .hpp: touchgfx::TextArea _label; in .cpp _label.setY(0); _label.setX(0); _label.setTypedText(TypedText(title_id)); _label.resizeToCurrentText(); draw(_label.getRect());Is it perhaps simply not possible to add children to the widget class? Or maybe I should use another class? I don't understand it.Thank you for reading.
I haven't found any other way to change the language than through pure C++ code.Is there meant to be a way of switching language through functionality generated in the designer? If not, providing an extra action to do this through interactions would be very useful.
Hello,I have been experiencing the following issue when working with CubeMX :#1. The EXECUTE button of the Graphics Middleware / STemWin Configuration panel does NOT open the GUI Builder, when it is clicked (activated). GUI Tool is enabled. Here is the further information : CubeMX 5.0.1 + Atollic TrueStudio + F4_V1.23.0 located in C: disk. How should I resolve this problem ?I thank you in advance for your reply and with kind regards,Su
How to erase all items from LISTBOX item?
Is it possible to create any kind of hack to run multiple displays on one MCU with ToughGFX?I'm looking for a way to have one display be drawn normally, but with two smaller displays at very low frame-rates (no higher than 1Hz).
I am wondering if there are any examples or plans to add functionality to the external buttons in TouchGFX Desiger. In the beginning of last week I succeeded in touch control by applying my GUI to the 746dico board. And now I am connecting the external interrupter and checking the operation. When I change the GUI through the TouchGFX designer, the external interrupt code disappears. So I wonder if there are other methods or examples.I would like to thank you for using a good program. Thanks to that, I have a new and excellent way to do what I do.
In my case, intermediately TouchGFX evaluation watermark is shown on screen. And i have programmed application for STM32L4R5 board. Are we need to obtain a licensed version of the TouchGFX library. If this is the case then,How to obtain a licensed version of the TouchGFX library?
I build an application using touch GFX ,but I also want to use MCU peripheral to control other things. According to UI data.
I am planning to develop an application using touchGFX and one of the requeriments is that it should run on different display's sizes (5 and 10 inches). Is there any way to make an app that automatically resizes its elements depending on display's size? This is very common on mobile apps, but I haven't found any example or article describing how to do it with touchGFX.Thanks in advance.
Working on getting a new TFT DSI LCD display to work on the STM32L4R9I-DISCOVERY kit. It uses the ST7796H2 display driver. emWin shows they have added support for this in their 5.36 version in the GUIDRV_FlexColor files, but STemWin is only reved to 5.32. TouchGFX doesn't use the GUIDRV_FlexColor, where are the hardware specific files for editing to add support for this new LCD? I've read: (https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204993942-Changing-to-a-different-display) but it doesn't mention specific file and I've browsed through various files without noticing the right one to work with. (GuiConfig.h, gui_main.h/cpp, stm32l4xx_hal_lcd.h, ...)Thanks for your guidance and support.
Hi , In TouchGFX designer I've added some custom C++ code to button interactions (something like "button.setState(!button.getState());" - simulation inside the Designer executes good, so I believe the code is not an issue).Generation code was successful , simulation run inside Designer also succeeded. But added C++ functionality was not as expected,so I decided to debug the execution code I've opened "Application.sln" located in ProjectRoot/simulator/msvs directory . Then tried to build ,solved text and images generation issues ,and in the end received linker error : Error LNK2001 unresolved external symbol "public: __thiscall FrontendApplicationBase::FrontendApplicationBase(class Model &,class FrontendHeap &)" (??0FrontendApplicationBase@@QAE@AAVModel@@AAVFrontendHeap@@@Z) Application ProjectRoot\TouchGFX\simulator\msvs\FrontendApplication.obj 1 Error LNK2001 unresolved external symbol "public: void __thiscall FrontendApplicationBase::gotoScreen1ScreenNoTransition(void
I have slightly modified the LCD_DSI_VideoMode_DoubleBuffering Example for the STM32F769-DISCO Board to see the behaviour when switching the video buffer at every Frame. The display is the standart DSI display (B-LCD40-DSI1) delivered with the DISCO kit. In the code I first preset 8 video-buffers with some pattern in the SDRAM, and on every HAL_LTDC_LineEventCallback, the CFBAR register is set to the next buffer. Now I get some kind of diagonal tearing or shift effect, eventough the buffer-switching is theoretically synced to LTDC Line 0. You can see the effect in the attached picture. Does anyone have an Idea, what is causing this effect and how this could be prevented?
