i'm working on this tutorial : https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205443982when I open the project on KEIL V5 I don't find the .hpp files and the project display an errorplease help me to find a solution to this problemthank you in advance
All of the posts in the community about this are all outdated and will not solve the problem. If this does not work in the development of the equipment, there is a very big problem to use.The USART ports you want to use are the Arundin pins C6 and C7.The development environment is as follows.IAR 8.32.1TouchGFX 4.10.0 DesignerSTM32F746 DISCO Board
Hi,We have problem with using “ID_DROPDOWN_0? component. Source code is attached. After clicking the dropdown, it expands normally, but clicking in expanded area, we do not get the event ‘WM_NOTIFICATION_CLICKED’ second time at all. It makes we can not select any item. Another components like "buton" or "radio buton" works properly.Best regardsMariusz
Hi, I would like to implement a boot loader and still use touch gfx to show very basic info on our screen while the firmware update process is taking place. Probably a black background with white text showing the progress. Is there a way to build the font and bitmap data and store them into the STM32 internal flash so that, from this bootloader, I can update the external flash containing all the fonts and bitmaps of our application firmware? What is the firmware update strategy you guys are using to update the external flash of your main application's firmware in the field?Thank you,
Hello, we are creating an embedded camera application on the STM32F7. In snapshot mode we allow the user to save individual images to SDCard in RGB format, or in video mode to save successive images at about 5 per second to SDCard, also in RGB format. We also allow the saving of selected images to USB. It just takes an image, opens a file, saves a BMP header to the file, and then saves the RGB format to the file. This works great, saves viewable BMP image files to the USB stick. We'd now like to add the function to save successive images to a *video* format on the USB stick. We can choose any video format we'd like, we simply want to "stitch" the images together into a file that the user can double click (after moving the USB stick to a PC or Mac) and have the file play, showing the images at about the original 5hz speed. We don't really need compression, and we'd like the video to not be "lossy", to show the entire image data (this will be used for diagnostic purposes). Thus far we are h
I have been trying to learn the basics of STM32 LTDC peripheral to drive a 4.3" 480 x 272 LCD using STM32F429IG mcu. I am using the Open429i dev kit by Wavehshare (https://www.waveshare.com/core429i.htm) which also has an onboard 64Mbit SDRAM (IS42S16400J).As step 1, I got the LCD to work with the LTDC controller and I am able to display appropriately formatted (RGB565) images on it by pointing the buffer to an image array in my code, like belowSo I know my LCD is good and I have configured LTDC correctly with 1 layer2nd step, I tried interfacing with the onboard SDRAM using FMC peripheral SDRAM bank 2 and pointing the LTDC framebuffer to this address. However when I do this, I get these weird colored streaks that seem to be scrolling horizontally. What I expected was the screen to be all white as I am clearing the SDRAM LTDC area to all 0xFF.A video showing the above in action is at https://vimeo.com/289213554I feel it's something to do with my SDRAM timing but I am not sure where to l
I'm trying to find a way to change the color order of the LTDC for RGB565. It apears that the link between the memory and the LTDC pins is fixed. I would like to output in order BGR instead of RGB. Nothing stand out in the reference manual (STM32F468) to me. Any ideas or pointers?Kind Regards,Rob
Hello,I am using the STM32H743I-EVAL and have developed an application with GUI, using the built-in display MB1063 Rev.B.In order to make a product from the application, I need a stock if working displays. The built-in display is manufactured by Ampire, and its part number isAM640480G5TNQW-T00H. I tried to contact this company at least 3 times but they did not reply. Can anyone recommend me of other displays that could be connected to the STM32H743I-EVAL? Are there any other plug-and-play LCDs for this evaluation module? I prefer a TFT with higher resolution (800X600 or 1024X768 or higher), but the display external size can be even smaller.Thanks.Sagiftw

Hey guys,i got a strange problem with stemwin.I'm currently migrating my project from an F103 to an F413.On the F103 Stmwin worked fine. On my F413 i'm just getting a blank screen.Let's assume the actuel LCD_Write/Read are still working. Could you give me some hint's where to check?My EmWin Initialisation looks like this:void LCD_X_Config(void) { ERROR_LOGGER_T error_logger = {0}; error_logger.error_type = error_types_display_stemwin; GUI_DEVICE * pDevice; CONFIG_FLEXCOLOR Config = {0}; GUI_PORT_API PortAPI = {0}; // // Set display driver and color conversion // pDevice = GUI_DEVICE_CreateAndLink(GUIDRV_FLEXCOLOR, GUICC_565, 0, 0); // // Display driver configuration, required for Lin-driver // LCD_SetSizeEx (0, XSIZE_PHYS , YSIZE_PHYS); LCD_SetVSizeEx(0, VXSIZE_PHYS, VYSIZE_PHYS); // // Orientation // Config.Orientation = GUI_MIRROR_X; GUIDRV_FlexColor_Config(pDevice, &Config); // // Set controller and operation mode /
Hi everybody,I am working on a TouchGFX project apparently , and I need to use UART in interrupt mode. How ever, I spent the last 10 days trying to configure the UART IRQ to work properly with no success yet so far.The problem is whenever a UART interrupt is triggered, the program crashes. In the time I was investigating the issue, I found out the following:Not only UART interrupts causes the crash, in fact any external interrupt would show the same behaviour. The issue is resolved whenever I turn off FreeRTOS. But as you recognize, no FreeRTOS = No TouchGFX.So currently I am quite sure that I am having the issue because interrupts should be configured differently when working with FreeRTOS. The thing is I don't have any experience with FreeRTOS, and this is my first project with FreeRTIS implemented. I tried reading some documentations and books. But couldn't figure it out.I need to know the proper way to get UART working in Interrupt mode with TouchGFX and FreeRTOS running.I appreciate
I try to take out window title form or let it disappear?like photo show.Is it possible ?And how to do this?
Hello,I am working on a project with a STM32F469 Disco using STemWin.For configuration of a lot of settings I have designed a GUI menu structure with about 10 different windows created by the emWin GUIBuilder.exe.Jumping between these windows works fine. After configuring is finished I am starting one the main tasks of the program by pressing a GUI-Button in my GUI-main-menu. Cause I don't want to have undefined delays by the dialogs in my main tasks, I am exiting the windows-manager with: GUI_EndDialog(pMsg->hWin, 0); hItem = pMsg->hWin; WM_DeleteWindow(hItem); GUI_Clear();Within the main task I write some text directly to the LCD by: GUI_DispStringAt.. or GUI_DispDecAt...After the main task is done I reenter the GUI by: GUI_Exit(); HAL_Delay(100); GUI_Init();...and then start the GUI again by: hWin = GUI_CreateDialogBox...This works also fine for exactly 9 times. When the GUI is reentered the 10th time, I won't work again. The funny thing is, that the GUI does not really crash in
Is it possible to save only 8-bit from 32bit DCMI Data Register in internal SRAM?
If I set up the DMA2D for a memory to memory transfer using AHB memory (SRAM1, 2 or 3), the transfer error (TEIF) flag gets set. The same setup addressing AXI SRAM works. The table in AN4891 page 13 suggests that the DMA2D can access SRAM1,2,3 so why does it not work?
I started with the tips that user @BBenn commented in this forum post. Eventually I was able to get a project that compiled and loaded on the target device. The minimal gui that I generated in TouchGFX shows up on the display but the START button does not react to touches.UPDATE: Thanks to the advice of users @eng23and @BBenn I was able to get the touch driver configured. Thanks again for your help.
Hi @Martin KJELDSEN I added two tasks in main.cpp. If I added other tasks apart from GUItask, the LCD is displaying image. If I add vTaskDelay(40);, the image is show.n. Is it neccessary to add vTaskDelay in other task delay????Should I add vTaskDelay in each task to display image in LCD???
I have read the thread discussing this topic, but the resources it points to only covers Application Templates - not User Interface Templates. Is the packing of UI templates analogous to those of ATs or is it a different process altogether?
Hello,I have an STM32F429 Discovery board. I would like to know how to interface both the LCD-TFT display and the CAN communication protocol. As I don't see any free pins for the CAN protocol after interfacing the LCD-TFT display. Please find the link for the data sheet of the discovery board, https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/user_manual/6b/25/05/23/a9/45/4d/6a/DM00093903.pdf/files/DM00093903.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00093903.pdfData-sheet of STM32F427,https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32f429zi.pdfReference manual for STM32F4xxhttps://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/reference_manual/3d/6d/5a/66/b4/99/40/d4/DM00031020.pdf/files/DM00031020.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00031020.pdfPlease do let me know which pins I have to use in-ordered to interface both the display and the CAN. Thanks in advance :D
Hey,I tried generating an empty project using STM32CUBEMX (Followed instructions from: https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021620431-Configuring-STM32F429I-DISCO) When I try to compile the project in keil I get the following error:(Sample error line: SixthTrial\SixthTrial.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol touchgfx::TypedText::fonts (referred from texts.o).)hence after looking up for a few other forums I tried updating my touch gfx in the project folder and got this output:(Sample error line: Using touchgfx E:\TouchGFX\4.10.0\env(MINGW32) Updating 'simulator/gcc/Makefile'(MINGW32) Generating assets.make[1]: *** No rule to make target )Please let me know where I am going wrong. Thank You.
Hi,I would like to use SD card to store the image files. Can you please help me to guide how to store these files in SD card?
Hello,I have 32L4R9IDISCOVERY board with round display. When I set clock configuration of MIPI DSI there is one error. DSI rxclkesc is same as DSI lane byte clock if lane_byte_clock is fed from DSI-PHY. For 32F469IDISCOVERY DSI clock setting there is no rxclkesc (i think it should be same as txclkesc).I want to use DSI-PHY clock for lane byte clock. Whats wrong ?ThanksEDIT: I am using STM32CubeMX version 5.1.0.

Hello all,I am trying to configure a click event upon a scrollwheel for selecting an item.I am using Callback for achieving this.Inside a handleClickEvent(), I need to give a callback to a CallbackHandler function. This function will eventually call scrollWheel1UpdateItem for performing any actions related to click event. I am getting confused with the syntax related to declaring a callback and initializing it inside SetupScreen()Please help me with the correct way of doing this and correct syntax for Callback declaration and usage. Following is Screen1View.hpp #ifndef SCREEN1_VIEW_HPP #define SCREEN1_VIEW_HPP #include <gui_generated/screen1_screen/Screen1ViewBase.hpp> #include <gui/screen1_screen/Screen1Presenter.hpp> class Screen1View : public Screen1ViewBase { public: Screen1View(); virtual ~Screen1View() {} virtual void setupScreen(); virtual void tearDownScreen(); void scrollWheel1UpdateItem(CustomContainer1& item, int16_t itemIndex); void
